I have just under 2000 battles in Gepard ,in 90 % of them i have been killed by Helicopter/aircraft missile that was fired from ranges where i cannot engage target

It simply cannot compare to other SPAA’s on its BR
They should remove DM23 from it and drop it down to 7.7 next to ZSU23-2 at this point

not much of a reason for it to be lower than the zsu 23 4, and even then it isnt like you remove much AT capabilities by removing the dm23, the dm13 are by themselves ridiculously OP.
You should try it again now that it has 2 2500kg bombs, honestly a fun little nuke thrower at 6.0

Stopped using bombers when they nerfed explosive
dropping 1000 kg bomb next to IS 2 and scoring hit is not fun
Especially since my maus dies when russian 50 kg bomb drops 5 meters away from it
Have you even used an AGM-12? It’s sounds like you haven’t. you can guide your aircraft or the missile… using the arrow keys. it’s generally worse than rockets with a ballistic computer.
Once you start moving your aircraft again, you can’t guide them. you’re completely wrong.
the A32A is totally better at cas. it gets better bombs for multikills, has a ballistic computer and gets countermeasures and better guns. but it’s also at 9.0.

Yes i have thats why im telling you that you can control them while you move with the mause, btw the only way to loose the guidance is when you literally launch a new one, seems like the one that has never use them is you buddy…
Btw even if you couldn’t move while controlling them, which is not the case, you still outrange the spaag.
Also since you probably will keep bringing this I will actually show you prove that you can guide them while moving and that you dont drop the lock when you move.

A32 gets chaff only, it also gets 3x 800kg bombs or i could have 4x 1000lb with a computer and 2 missiles or the 4x bombs with 2x 500lb bombs. The 105 is a better CAS platform.

Chaff, that breaks radar locks. 800Kg is much larger than 1000lb. they both have ballistic computers. the A32 is faster and it’s guns are better and have far more ammo. That’s not to mention that taking the loadouts you’re citing both make the 105 fly like a brick and don’t let you take guns. Aim-9b are also basically useless in ground.

That’s a good one. Even for SPAAGs without proxy rounds or AHEAD you’re almost always going to get beaned flying right at an AA like that.
You dont have or need to dodging the thread is more than enough and quite simple, most of the times you just need to change your directions by a few degrees to avoids the enemy fire.
If you lack the hability, that’s on you buddy, at those ranges you have more than enough time to act, and you can know if they can potencially have either proxy rounds or AHEAD.
