I have thousands of matches, but the best you could do for “most played CAS aircraft” is 337 matches. apparently you’re also too thick to even name the aircraft. If you’re talking about the Saab 105, it’s literally the only plane sweden has from 8.0 to 9.0 you simpleton. it also faces braindead AA like the chapparal, gepard a2, zsu23m4, type 93 and santal. it also faces the countless radar guided AA, including the PGZ09 and M247. AA will kill you 9/10 if it’s focusing on you, they also have the advantage of being able to detect and track aircraft infinintely easier than aircraft can do to them.
I also find especially telling your criticism that i don’t sit in spawn with AA and wait for planes, which is evidently exactly what you do, which pathetic.

Nope. unsurprisingly you are wrong as always. nobody know how gaijin balances vehicles, evidently not even themselves. but as is clear from what has happened numerous times they are largely balanced against other ground vehicles. which is one reason why they keep changing their ammo belts.
SPAAs getting RADAR makes them dominant against aircraft. in matches lower than that aircraft often have the advantage because they often already know where AA is before they even spawn and the AA has no better way of detecting them than any other vehicle. RADAR flips that completely and allows for automatic lead. Gaijin even gave AA the ability to replenish their own ammunition too, so they can just spray.

there are bullpups and as 20 around 8.7 and 8.3, ccip is not the only counter for spaag, they can easily kill almost all spaag around this br, aside from the PGZ09, quite easily so i wouldnt say that the spaa dominates air.

You know they’re both MCLOS right? so either they fly in a straight line, or they’re not guided. unless you’re really bad neither of those should be a problem for 8.3 AA. But again this isn’t what the post is about, it’s about how disgustingly OP the PGZ09 is at 8.3.

Do you not know what MCLOS means? Manual command to line of sight. it’s entirely manually guided. ingame this means that either the plane can fly in a straight line and use the arrow keys to make the missile go up, down, left, right, or they can cancel guidance and it just flies straight. the plane is an incredibly easy kill, or the missile isn’t guided.

first, you can manoeuver while using them, second you literally cant drop the guidance on these, in game you can even guided going backwards, just dont use the same keys as your plane movements or any combinations with alt.
Not really, nobody plays the 105 at 8.3 because the 551 is worthless as a vehicle. Its a worse M113 chassis. The A28 is meh but the Finnish Vampire at 8.0is usable but its incredibly slow and with the 1000lb bombs its even worse, at 8.0.your best aircraft for CAS is the Finnish Vampire but its food to most SPAA if you play dumb. Stay low and come from behind or the sides.
The SAAB 105 is a very potent CAS jet and is still on my 9.7 lineup as the A32A isn’t better than the 105 for CAS. The 105 is good at CAS and you need to play smart, 8.3 SPAA can get you but you can also just stay low like the vampire and use your computer or stay incredibly high outside their range which means your are more likely to miss. Imo its definitely the best 8.7 CAS jet but it lacks in every other category. Dying to a SAAB 105 in a jet like F86 is a skill issue. Id say if you’re dying in the 105 a lot try changing your playstyle. I carry 2x 1000lb bombs and then have both gunpods and missiles so i can attempt to play as a CAP fighter. Definitely not a good vehicle for it but i find it better than bombing tanks since i enjoy air more than ground.

Like all other enjoyers of CAS he will never admit that Germany/Japan and Italy have zero effective SPAA’s from around 6.0 to about 9.7.
German’s are held back by their WWII SPAA’s that gaijin nerfed artificially to boost their premium plane sales. Whilst Kugel and 341 on german side are super effective against wheelie boys they are next to useless in their main role as spaa due to slow tracking,nerfed ammo and speed. 341 is only spaa you can put in german 7.7 lineup where it faces planes that it simply cannot track unless enemy has lobotomy and flies straight at you.
Gepard is still only SPAA that if hit in turret(even with shrapnel ) will sometimes lose all of its ammo, it effectiveness is reduced by its self destructing ammo (4000 or so meters) and artificial fall of which depending on ammo starts around 1500 m.
With Gaijin constantly stuffing mid tiers with more and more planes that don’t belong there things will just get worse .

The Gepard at 8.3 and it equivalents are good at their br. They just arent braindead easy as that guy claims and the gepard had one of the better radars of its peers.
Generaly if you wanna do anti air duty with gepard you have to move forward but not where enemy tanks are to get shot by them. You are an spaa not a mbt, a tank will kill you thats normal
