Mobility is not irrelevant, were are talking it takes literally seconds to get behind cover in the zsu with how slow it is, gepard is almost instant.
Have you ever played a zsu? The radar is one of the worst in the game and takes about 10 seconds to do a 360 rotation, and can barely keep track on targets 4km away. And you dont get to play anti air, you sit in your spawn and you have to defend against spawn campers, you go off to a corner of the map and you get hunted as well, being able to defend yourself matters alot. Playing something like the roland slinger or OSA is pure misery because you just die all the time to ground units no matter where you position.
It has more rounds going out, but they are not even close to the velocity the gepards which means your effective range for gun kills is much shorter.
I would rather be in the 8.3 gepard than the 9.3 zsu any day of the week. I can’t shoot at helis nearly as far, the missiles are useless against anyone that has a brain and doesn’t get low energy at altitude or has flares and uses them, the radar is basically just a tracking radar and not a good one.
Context seems to be a bit difficult for you. are you going to try and argue that what i was saying is that the aircraft had to literally be stationary? “looks like someone have [sic]” learning difficulties.
Go on, use your words. explain why you think that the M247 is at least one BR deviation better than the PGZ09.
Really, the PGZ09 is better or equal to the M247 in almost every way.
You mean you think the m247 is better against air? i think they’re equal, the AHEAD round probably has a smaller damage cone, but it has a higher MV and much higher fire rate. Against ground it’s not even close, the PGZ09 shits on the 247. the PGZ09 is faster, more mobile, has APDS and better APHE rounds.
It should be at least 9.0.
It makes not sense how? you can take two types of belt. The PGZ09 APHE shits on all other 35mm APHE, and the AHEAD rounds are almost as good as other 35mm APHE against ground as well. It’s the APHE that kills ground targets anyway.
Have you ever used the AHEAD round?
It literally only works if the target is flying towards you, if they fly away or even tangent to you good luck doing anything to them, AHEAD is certainly not as good as HE-VT
Literally just not true, AHEAD has 40 ish mm of pen and no explosive and if youre smart youre taking the AHEAD and the 40 rounds of APDS so it doesnt matter if your APHE has 10mm extra pen than other 35mm APHE cause you wont be using it
Wrong, the damage range of AHEAD is a fan while HE-VT is a circle, they have essential differences and the explosion range of HEVT is significantly larger than AHEAD
Dont forget that ahead is not a proxy fuse round the fuse range is set when the round leaves the gun so if the target makes any course corrections they will 75% of the time not take damage, it can basically only shoot down targets flying in straight lines
