Yes, but what else is in there ?
It’s not OK if Russia by example have almost 50% of it’s warhead being explosive, when Japan get a bigger warhead that deals way less demages just because there is less explosive, but more spalling that isn’t rendered other than for penetration values.
I was curious about how much Chi-Ri’s acceleration will improve if buffed to gross horsepower (700PS). I made a comparison with current Chi-Ri (550PS), buffed Chi-Ri (700PS), Chi-To, and M4A3(76)W accelerating to reach 42km/h on flat grass.
Aside from this, it will also improve general mobility. Currently if you hold W, accelerate up, and then hold A/D to do circles, Chi-Ri will hold at 6km/h before settling to 3km/h. With the buff it could sustain 13km/h in a turning circle.
so it as the same gun as the Ho-Ri Prototype except from the less recoil part.

I think its quite easy to see the similarities
I imagined for one second that it is not joke and true and that Komatsu 105GSR with 105mm Type 5 gun would be so meme APHE killer lol
It is like somewhere near to Ru-251
it’s going straight to 8.3 (or even higher) like the french autoloaders lol
Can we have this added now? It may have been overpowered 3 years ago, but definitely not today.
If it’s japanese, it’s already overpowered and will destroy the balance so can’t be added(gaijin logic)
mainly because most Japanese mains are second tree users or learned that amour is not everything and position is.
In the next fiscal year, FY27, the MoD is developing a new anti-air system called CRADS. It’s combining laser, missile, and gun technology. It could be a system that can be easily installed as a ground installation or on other vehicles. I hope to see it on armored chassis such as the CTWV
I just realized how little sense this makes at all. I understand that they didn’t want to put the Indonesian Leo 2 after the Thai subtree line, but the left-most tree branch makes absolutely zero sense now. What is TKX (P) and Leo 2 doing at the end of the line of lightly armoured autocannons?
Just put TKX(P) between Type 90 and Type 10 and the Leo 2 after Type 16.

It was one of the “reshuffling” decisions made by Gaijin to debloat the MBT line. At the time we did not have tier VIII to dissolute tanks a bit (even though it is nothing but a way to introduce more “pre-top tier” premium tanks), so all JP MBTs were in a single line.
Another reason is probably Gaijin wanting to make your life harder, as the left most line didn’t have any vehicle vehicle >9.7, thus spreading the “grind” more evenly – if you wanted to have a line-up, you would not only need MBT line but also the LT line.
Idk why they still do it like this, but probably they are keeping it like this for future non-JP MBTs to come to the Thai line with other 105/120mm LTs being placed in the TD line…
Easy fix for the big jump between Type 16 and the Leo 2: Harimau.
Recently passed to devs, it would be a great vehicle to add between the Type 16 and the Leo 2.
Harimau and Leo 2+ could easily go 10.7 to fill that BR and TT gap.
Starting next year or finish research next year?
Tbh I’m not sure, it says the following:
The aim is to respond to attacks by large numbers of drones and ballistic missiles, and the plan is to include the 2027 budget budget request as a “request for items” without specifying the amount.
This kind of system is not that hard for them really, it can easily modified on current Type 87, hope we would see it before this game dying
type87 with type91 and laser?)))
I always wondered why Japan hadn’t gone the same route as Germany with Gepards. Putting some SAM-2s on Type 87s would make a lot sense, given how much JSDF likes to save money.
A bit of topic but it really annoys me that JSDF doesn’t use SAM-2s on their AH-64s, I am always all for using domestic if possible.

Perhaps the Type 10’s turret basket in the game should be smaller and positioned higher.
The height (green) of the basket is 0.36 of the diameter (red)

In the game - 0.43

Now about the basket placement.
The photo shows that the turret ring is attached exactly to the bottom of the turret. In the game, however, there’s a gap between the bottom of the turret and the elevation drive.
Based on the above, I assume the basket in the game should be placed within the yellow rectangle.
I think there was something like a gepard 1A2, but it didn’t go beyond the papers.
