they should have added the kai as a module already, with a lighter missile it could probably perform better at closer ranges and have less drag at longer ranges
otherwise the only problems i see with the type 03 is map related, theres in no place to conceal the system in most maps in a way that you can actually scan with no blocks, and the truck has a very weak engine
war head also seems to have low shrappnel count and most of the time hits are impact fused and not proximity (maybe is the 5 seconds fuse activation)
This is just the unfortunate reality of many SAM systems. They aren’t meant for close AA, though some are better at it like the iron dome or IRIS-T because they’re built for it. Irl often the doctrine of AA is to have different platforms that form layers of AA that handle different distances. Like an… an… an ONION! Type 03, like the patriot, is made for the outer layers of this defense. They don’t have the capability to track things well flying out of the radar view (flying low) afaik, because they don’t have optical or ir tracking in the missile.
We need to get gaijin to fix their maps. This is an universal issue that should be the number 1 priority, but they themselves said in the QNA they don’t care. So yeah.
I recently saw another tweet about Thai tanks used in the Thailand-Cambodia conflict, and it seems the M48A5Pi has been significantly modernized. At the very least, it appears to have capabilities equivalent to a standard M60A3.I’m looking forward to its implementation :)

I can’t help but notice the gun mount neatly stowed away on the turret rather than weirdly blocking the drivers hatch from opening. I still have no idea how Gaijin managed to get a model with it not only leaning on the drivers hatch, but strapped into that position using a hook that doesn’t exist on the actual tank at all.

I hope we get the eco armour in game. It’s only benefit would be camouflage braking up your shape and stuff. Plus a little extra thickness but the extra few tons won’t we worth it.
