hmm, I would say theres a lot of situations where it is kinda useless, I got lucky with the other team being largely leo 1s. I do think it should be 8.7 or so personally
Type 87 will be so useful in infantry (lower br though) to hose down buildings.
Typical RCV situation, we know it is over BR but while we trying to justify the thought it actually doing quite well in the match🤦♂️
What kind of infantry can Japan bring to the infantry mode?
I love the RCV and at 9.0 its not great but i also wouldn’t want it at 8.7 since i know how strong it would be especially against all the LT’s at that BR
F-4EJ Kai ADTW used XAAM-4s iirc, essentially AAM-4s but less pull. It also used AAM-3s (IRCCM) in later service.
Is it AI upscaled?
If it works and does not brake the bank I guess they will find use from them.
There are rumors this order also includes ST1s with 105mm guns.
I’m so tired of all the drama over Chinese vehicles for Thailand’s subtree. Honestly, the Type 16 is already better in the Japanese tech tree, and I don’t really like playing the ZTL-11, but I still want to complete the full Thai vehicle lineup.

The fourth phase of VN-1 procurement might also include the ST-1 variant.
Thai players in the forum:

Tbh I feel like the entire VT-4 ordeal was due to the “leaked” image of the VT-4 with the Japanese flag behind it and the bad timing that the devs decided to update the files created a whole unnecessary controversy which as we saw made gaijin to change the policies on leaks
They can still add VN-1 and VT-4, VN-1 can just be presented as a regular devblog and include the an IFV for China and Thailand at rank ¿? and keep it simple as that, VT-4 can be announced after something like idk ZBL-19 a new IFV at rank ¿? or just add it and not announce it is not like vehicles aren’t added this way like Type 61 premium which was added last update but I didn’t knew until I saw a video of what’s being added, come on guys you can’t be that bad to plan additions
Thailand should just make their own 8x8…
Or better yet, adopt another foreign solution like the LAV 6.0 or even the Korean Tigon

Chaiseri has built a mock-up vehicle armed with a 105 mm gun autoloader as a proposal. Whether the project moves forward depends on the Thai military. However, turret technologies would still need to be purchased from abroad with technology transfer likely from Israel or John Cockerill , and it would likely take several more years before an operational vehicle is actually fielded.
Chaiseri previously produced the AWAV 8×8 amphibious armored vehicle for the Royal Thai Navy, which has already been used in combat. This helps demonstrate that the company has the capability to produce an 8×8 vehicle for the armed forces.
