Did they remodel the Type 61 when they added the Type 61 (B) or is it still the model of a Type 61 (B)/(C)? I looked at it and couldn’t see any differences between the two in-game Type 61.

No idea, but its always given me big Type 96 vibes, drivers hatch is on the wrong side though

Its part of the Komatsu common chassis family. There were two types with the cabin and apc type. The NBC Recon vehicle is the cabin type, so it’s the closest analog to it.

Yeah id also love to know. Im grinding it rn and tested it a lot in test drive and its…like, seriously gaijin? it cant hit the test drive helicopter at 4 km or less? its not multipathing at 500m or something, its not going fast, no frontal nor shot from behind hits it because the missiles arc in a giant arc over it and cant pull in. Seriously, all this time for the japanese tech tree with giant gaps and no adequate spaa and when they finally get one its implemented like this? Just spawn a biplane or dumb rocket heli and its completely helpless?

Lame. They should’ve foldered it in the tech tree with the Type 61 and STA-3, and added the Type 61 (D) as the premium.

Yeah honestly its not that great since people tend to fly very low to the battlefield the radar wont really detect them until its way too late as the missile just genuinely has no chance of hitting anyone flying that fast that close and forget trying to intercept missiles they seem to only be reliable at 9km
Also in testing in customs the missile still suffers from the notch angles being very easy to abuse still
At this point i dont even think the kai upgrade would help anything here since afaik the kai upgrade has no TVC (which would help ALOT in these cases)

This is the most unexpected crossover I’ve ever seen. Two Thai FV101 Scorpion tanks were spotted equipped with ERA from the VT-4. I’m not sure whether the ERA was taken from one of the two VT-4s that were damaged by a barrel explosion

Actually I more curious about if their armour thick enough to not get any damage from the ERA when they get hit

there would definitely be certain amount of damage, but its probably better than getting blown to bits

The Thai FV101 Scorpion would be great for infantry mode, but it’ll probably take a long time before we get infantry from countries other than the US and Russia.
