Because it doesn’t have it and only
They haven’t modernized Type 87 for use new types of ammo

did they change the radio antenna angle? i’m pretty sure the Type 16 always straight up, not 45°?

Type 16 has always had 45° tilted antennas, the Type 16 P however does have the straight antennas

Are there any news on upgrading type 16. There had been news about developing a new 105mm apfsds, but are there any news about type 16 adding aps or upgrading the hull with spall linear like type 25🤔

No. Since that only one news here wasn’t anything new

Any known upgrade project with APS is Type 10

I started with M60A3 TTS > the Type 16 (P) > and the Stingray, but the Type 16 (P) feels the best in my lineup because of its great thermals and excellent mobility, already got a few nukes with it. (and I almost dropped the M60A3 TTS completely).

I just got the Type 87 RCV, and I’m having a hard time with it since I only have the stock ammo belt, and I’m not that good at playing light “rat” tanks. There are so many players using Gepards, ZA-35s, BMP-2s, BMP-3s, BMP-4s, and XM800Ts in the match — all of them have gun stabilizers, which puts me at a big disadvantage.

I’m grinding Type 89 right now, at least stock APDS and ATGM will not be worse than Type 87 RCV.

The type 89 is really fun, but you loose a lot of speed on turns

Type 87 RCV you can sort of ignore for now. Its never gonna be super good compared to the stable Type 87 RCV (P) and High-Firepower Type 89 FV. Type 89 is a pretty easy stock grind, you get the two best ammunition (DM23 APDS + Type 79 ATGM) and you can easily brawl or guesstimate without the rangefinder.

The type 87 rcp is hit or miss, it’s gun is fun and it’s fast, but it’s lack of stab is very annoying most the time.

really shouldn’t be 9.0 IMO
8.3 or something would be fair, it’s basically an XM800T trading stab for a “Better” gun
+ then you could run it in the 8.3 line up

How big of an improvement is the going to be?

This has been known since the disappointment of SPAA were given during the first run of SPAA additions, we got stuck with a gimped missile carrier with poor tracking, poor missiles, and terrible range, China got Terrible range and missile performance, Isreal got terrible radar with mid missiles, and sweden got a stationary SPAA with the shortest range missiles and least amount of missiles for 12.0

Balance and viable SPAA was never in the snails plan.

pretty sure it makes it a lot harder to overpressure from HE on the commander optics
