General Japanese & Thai Ground Forces Discussion HQ

IRL the sections being pointed at by the red arrows are the turret front ERA to the left of the gun (from the front on the right), Gaijin accidental modelled the ERA both in the stowed position on top of the turret and on the turret face, thus removed the stowed ERA as we have it already installed in place.

Where the ERA goes when mounted:

Maybe I don’t really understand what you mean but you are showing exactly to the ERA blocks which was removed from the turret top
Why?
Because this ERA is placed there only in non-battle configuration but for battles this ERA is placed on the left of gun

Why is it put there when not in combat?

Easier for the driver to get out, otherwise they have to kinda crawl forwards under the gun and era. By removing the blocks they can instead go up past the gun.

Ok i got it now, so those two ‘‘things’’ that i pointed out are just ‘‘folded’’ state of the ERA which is supposedly for attaching to the frontal turret ?

I thought they were some kind of tools or something else that is why i got confused why people pointed out on ERA armor, i didn’t even know they were ERA armor, welp, i learned somethign new.

This should be 9.0 the TTS with Blazer/WERA should be at 9.3 then TIFCS should be 9.7

I’m really struggling with the Thai M60A3 TTS right now—it’s so low on mobility, especially when climbing hills or turning the hull. I feel like the TIFCS isn’t worth 9.7; it should be 9.3 at best.

The Magach 6B Gal has ERA, M426 APFSDS, gen 1 thermal and a laser warning receiver, yet it’s still 9.3.

Gen 3 thermals on the TIFCS just don’t justify that BR, It probably just has slightly faster turret rotation speed, but everything else is the same as the TTS.

With DMM 33 it deserves 9.3 for Thai TTS since the shell performance is very good and plus the Blazer/WERA it will help filling the lack of MBT for Japan 9.3 line up. Also the TIFCS should get the 430 pen round and with gen 3 thermal it make sense to be there and also can fill up 9.7 line up.

And for me I prefer M60 mobility than the Type 74 poop suspension that bounce so hard as well as poop elevation also no thermal.

If you’re trying to go fast, Type 87, then Type 74 and M60A3 TTS

Otherwise,
9.0-9.7 is probably the most fun BR range for Japan. The Type 89 is the first vehicle I’d get, being able to kill every MBT from 9.0-12.0 on a side-on or with the ATGMs. It is fast, small and capable. It is honestly a must in every lineup. It is a fantastic vehicle and I recommend it second. I’d say get the Type 74 (E) first as its always nice to have an MBT that you’re familiar with as your first vehicle at the BR. Then I’d get the TTS and then the Type 16 (P). The 9.0 BR is incredibly fun right now, so I’d flesh it out as much as you can before getting the 9.3 BR.

So, Type 74 (E) → Type 87 RCV / Type 89 → M60A3 TTS → Type 16 (P) → Stingray → Type 93 → Type 16
^While waiting, I recommend getting the RCV (P) but if you don’t want to use the scout feature, just go for the RCV (P).

Stats for Rank 6

Ignore the KD for most of the vehicles, I’ve only started to become decent/consistent in the last couple months. The vehicles themselves are great!

Still thinking why they don’t add this looking on SAMs added in this update

In this way, the SAM-81C that has already been modeled in the game cannot be utilized again Xd

Why does the Type 87 tank not have airburst ammunition?
