General Japanese & Thai Ground Forces Discussion HQ

Aye, but the difference is all of my other 9.3s are already spaded. T-80s aren’t fun to deal with when you have 105 heat.

There’s a reason I haven’t got for the oplot yet. maybe after the BR changes where they’ll definitely be doing some decompression right? right?

They moved all Type 90s from 11.3 to 11.7, which was completely unnecessary.

Yuuuup, it’s just painful, it’s not even like there’s much at 10.3 to bully, oh wait their beloved 10.3 RU premium line up. Im hoping next BR changes they’ll move everything around the Type-90 up if they don’t want to move the Type-90 back down.

I was checking my old phone and I come across this images about the Type 90 prototype

How is the rest of Japan tier 4 ground? I only played the spgs and St-A tanks and have enjoyed them quite a bit. I’m curious as to perhaps continue grinding further once I have more free time (last time I just rushed to the Type 99 in order to be able to research the Ho-ri production).

The Ho-Ri and M47 are great vehicles. I managed to get two nukes on the Ho-Ri (but I couldn’t drop them). The M47 is surprisingly fun to use and has a fantastic reverse gear.

Thanks for the response, looking forward to trying them out, though it’s probably gonna be a while.

Type-99SPH is pretty funny too

Haven’t tried it outside of customs, I really liked the Type 75 so looking forward to it.

pzh2000 without the LRF

What do you mean? The Type 90 is definitely just as good as the Leopard 2A4M, TKX(P), T-80UE-1 and M1A1 AIM / M1A2!!

Yeah. This, the M551/Stingray and Stingray II should’ve come for the US rather than the Thai Stingray variant. Wasted potential

This tank is not the same as the US M41 Stingray either, it’s a unique Thai variant. It’s the turret from the first Stingray prototype sent for trials in Thailand mounted to a Thai M41A3, the turret even kept the unique camo.

Sadly the only color image seems to be edited around the drivers hatch, likely to make an open hatch appear closed.

Thai M41A3 Stingray

The US prototype for the M41 Stingray used an M41A1 base instead

I really hope Gaijin isn’t lazy again and just gives one nation the wrong M41 Stingray because if it

Why did they remove the imperial japanese flag from all IJN/IJA vehicles and also the main menu screen?

if i’m not mistaken they changed it because it wasn’t the national flag but a military flag
not sure why they didn’t do the same for germany but it is what it is

If its not coming in anytime soon I could see them adding in the Malaysian T-84 and PT-91M sooner then later to fill in that area of the tech tree as a form of compromise. The VT-4 would have filled in an important spot. But I still have hopes that Gaijin drops in in randomly and stays quite.

We all submit tribute to the glorious bobble head tonk. May it bless us by being in the tech tree.
