It’s interesting reading this to me as IMO the C is the best Type 74 model. Its one of the lowest BR tanks with 2-plane stabs and an LRF, with decent ammo options. It’s also not high enough BR to really start seeing the ‘cancer’ vehicles and space laser bombers.
There are also some very cool prototype Type 16s with several turret variants. I’d rather see those tbh

Really nice fix, but again it makes me wonder how long we’ll have to wait for Na-To, Chi-Nu II, Chi-To, Chi-To Late, Chi-Ri 6x sights. For those guns it’s not only a small historical error, but a gameplay issue.

Is not a bad vehicle but also not good, the “not bad” part is just like what you had said and I think the “not good” part is the post pen damage of the shell, the current APDS and HEAT-FS is just sucks
The second one appears to be a T-55, I can see the signature gap between the first and second roadwheel.

But i had very good time with HEAT-FS.
The major problems I met with HEAT is the damage inconsistent, maybe you can pen and kill all member at the last round but it can only yellowing the breach for this round even though you hit the same place
Can anyone point me to some good sources for documentation on Japenese vehicles? I found several secondary sources (none of them credit their sources lmao) they all say the type 87 spaag has thermal/infrared imaging capabilities but I’m pretty sure they won’t be enough, probably gonna need something more official and so far haven’t had any luck with that so any help would really be appreciated.
I could give out the links I found so far if anyone wants to weigh in on whether Gaijin might consider them or not.

Nope, not even the Gepard has been seen with the appropriate adapters for airburst/AHEAD ammunition, although a domestic Type 87 modification might not be so far-fetched to extend the service life.
Speaking of somestic Type 87 upgrades, I’m surprised the JGSDF never put the Type 93 missiles on them, just like Germany put stingers on their Gepards.
