And Gripen E to be purchased in fiscal year 2025 and deliveries to begin in 2028 ，I don’t think we can see it in technology tree early than Thailand Airforce get it.

The biggest problem is that some Chinese players want those two countries jion in CN.They argued endlessly about it.

I was talking about the expansion of the trees upwards to keep in line with other nations, meaning the addition of future higher BR tanks and aircraft to level with those of the powerhouses of USA, Russia, and China. I am absolutely in agreeance that other parts of top tier (and the tree in general) need more love as well.
Just thinking for the future; the F-2 should suffice until then.
Not really we could see it when the Gripen E drops considering gaijin loves to copy and paste. Think its pretty likely gaijin won’t make the Gripen E exclusive to sweden so whenever that jet arrives we can see the Thai model drop

I don’t play air, so my opinion may not be the soundest, but after/replacing the F-16AJ seems to be the most likely option.

That tracks. It’s an absolutely ridiculous position to take that China should get those given non forum topic realities, but I am utterly unsurprised somehow. IMO they get Pakistan, North Korea, perhaps Iran and Vietnam. Maybe (and this is a huge stretch) a subtree of a couple select African countries. Perhaps Sri Lanka.

I was bein goofy, but when you put it like that it’s not quite as ridiculous as I thought. The F-2’s primary mission was destruction of enemy warships and landing craft. It is the modern equivalent of a torpedo bomber. The torpedo bomber line isn’t a bad spot.
Over time, I have come to be immensely disappointed with the implementation of the F-2’s predecessor, the F-1. It is
- a strike fighter IRL yet a Jet Fighter ingame
- missing its guided ordnance
- losing CCIP for rockets and bombs and gun in the next update, it looks like.
The thing is useless outside air arcade now.

I think after F-16OCU (F-16AJ anyway) `cause it felt like their own planes while F-4s and F-15s purchased “subtree”
I think it’d be better to have Malaysia in the Chinese tree (with Laos and Vietnam) since Malaysian tanks like the PT-91M would be a better fit for China than Japan, but Singapore would go better with either Japan or Britain imo, though I can see it going to Germany, too.

Putting Malaysian/Singaporean in Chinese or Japanese tree are pretty much insulting since both of them are got nothing in common with Malaysian/Singaporean history other than death and destruction during World War II by Japanese or communist insurgency period where Peking providing support to Malayan communist terrorist. Even today Peking are arrogantly tried to claim the whole Malaysian EZZ with their fictional “nine-dash line”.
