When calculated correctly.
We come up with a bare minimum 1.4 multiplier for the armor on the type 10 and TKX
Meaning the turret cheeks (for game balance reasons) should be 791mm of RHA
The UFP should be 620mm of RHA

Hey everyone, I wasn’t sure where to ask this, but I need a bit of help. Do we have any idea on what or where the optics are/were supposed to be on the CCV? I was combing through references like the 2013 testing footage, and the MoD’s business and policy evaluation documents from FY2020, such as this PDF, but I couldn’t identify what I should use for a reference. I was guessing they’d either be mounted on top, or have the gunner optic mounted in the turret face.

The turret cheek armor extends more forward than that
In fact even the current models are wrong
There’s only a tiny amount of armor that isn’t in the turret cheek. Over 90% of the arrowhead actually has armor and the armor extends further back on both sides
