I’m going to submit a report because the Yamato-class torpedo defense was supposed to be 350kg of TNT. The Japanese Navy at that time decided on this design, thinking that the torpedoes used by other countries would use 200kg of TNT. In reality? Well, TORPEX was amazing… She was damaged little by little… However, it should have a considerable advantage over aircraft from countries that use outdated torpedoes. I’m going to be a bit busy, so if you have the materials, you can submit your report first.
「米国の魚雷の炸薬は200kgと予想されていたので300kgを対象に考えておけば安全と思われた。」『戦艦大和設計と建造』松本喜太郎、戸高一成編 アテネ書房 p71
“The explosive charge of American torpedoes was estimated at 200 kg, so it was thought to be safe to assume 300 kg.” “Battleship Yamato Design and Construction” edited by Kitaro Matsumoto and Kazunari Todaka, Athens Shobo, p71
I found more information that there was 400+ kg of protection. But now I can’t remember where I found it.
Oh no I really wished she would have come in a historical painting scheme instead of the fake premium camo
Yes, I wanted to too. But maybe we should write a proposal to the developers about this? Maybe they will do something
Pretty cheap too nice. Ill have to pick it up just to have it i love IJN Yukikaze
It will be great if they can offer an option to disable the premium camo. The camo should be a bonus to the customer to be used as they wish, not something to be forced to use.
Should we start making suggestions for submarines so gaijin knows what to add?
So is this an actual issue that needs to be bug reported?
I don’t think so as Yamato’s turning ability in dev server is already one of worst among with Soyuz.
i made a petition for naval to be easier to grind
Ingame as of 2.46.0.21, Yamato maintains 19 knots flank speed in a constant full rudder turn, and takes almost 7 minutes to complete a full 360* turn (constant turn rate I measured was ~54*/minute, 3 minutes and 21 seconds to complete a 180* course change at constant speed).
Rearranging the formula Rate of Turn = 57.3 x Velocity (in knots) / 60 x Radius (in nautical miles) to find the ingame radius and plugging in the numbers from above and then converting to metric, Yamato has a constant radius of around 620m, or a diameter of 1.2km.
Battleships Yamato and Musashi by Janusz Skulski quotes Yamato’s tactical diameter to be 640m and the advance diameter (diameter of the circle when changing course by 90*) is 589m.
It’s possible I got a template answer, but I got a response from DMM saying “We will discuss with Gaijin.”
If DMM throws primary documents at Gaijin and they don’t fix ammunition storage, armor, etc., there’s nothing more we can do.
Could you please add this source to the bug report?

Testimony of a Survivor:
On the day we set out for Okinawa, aboard Yamato’s first bridge, the executive officer reported to the captain, “Including personnel from the Second Fleet Headquarters, the total number of crew members is 3,332.”

Thank you. I used the image because it was the same as the source I used. However, my manager told me that he needs at least one more secondary source, so I might need to prepare another piece of evidence. If anyone knows, please let me know!
And it got passed nice
Do you have a source for this image?
There was an update did yamato get any changes?
no changes for Yamato
