i really hope gaijin just adds it, PG-02 cant really do much against most ships especially if theres no coastals
How come Fuso’s Type 89 guns are grouped with Secondary’s and not AA’s, they seem to be shooting anti air shells that explode right above enemy vessels.
I went to the Bug reporting site and found reports as much as 6 months old, only for them to be shut off without any further explanation, why is that?.

It is quite funny, because Type 89 was literally made to be AA gun so not making it one in game seems just ridiculous.
But I guess Gaijin knows better.

Seems to be all other Japanese Battleships have their Type 89 Assigned to AA, just not Fuso.

I’m happy to report that I’ve now finished rank 3 of my Oceangoing Navy and will soon be able to research IJN heavy cruisers. I already have some cool ships, but with the addition of the Takao class, Nagato and Yamato, all of my WT playtime will be spent at sea. Thanks Akizuki! You were awesome with the increased HE penetration.

Looks to just be mobile devs being lazier and not on the same development path as PC devs. Nagato isn’t going to be an identical clone to Mutsu on PC.

Well, gentlemen… Do you think Japan will get something tasty in this patch? For example, Nagato modernized for 1944/45… or at the very least, the battleship Yamato)
And it seems that 3 countries are already receiving their top-of-the-line ships… And Japan is still sitting with an unmodernized Mutsu((

Well Vanguard and Richelieu are basically best ships of their nation. So I would expect we at least get some mighty ww2 ship too like IJN Nagato and not more of the modern crap. I dont expect Yamato tbf would have no competation and maps are too small for it. We really need maps with spawns at least 25-30 km away from each other to have Yamato.
This is just a leaklist that very obviously doesn’t have everything on it. I’m going to wait before doomposting about being left out.

Mutsu and Amagi doing well on currently, and still will be quite competitive against those battleships (Except Vanguard. Even though I’m Royal Navy lover, I don’t know why she added now)

This is still not enough. There is no normal armor, air defense, and also normal new Type 91 shells. All countries have essentially already issued normal modernized top battleships and only Japan is still left with old, unmodernized ones. Yes, Japan of course has an argument in the form of rapid-fire 410 mm main caliber, but this is not enough against the background of the rest.
Now, in essence, Japan’s top battleships are cardboard with a decent gun and no air defense. And I’m not taking into account battleships with 356mm, but I’m talking specifically about Amagi and Mutsu

No, decent protection with overpowered guns.
You have to sorry for Italy, France(who doesn’t have armor) and USA(who has thick armor but is useless)
But with almost same as modernized shell’s characteristic. Current Type 5 APC’s ballistic shell is near to that of Type 91, and much buffed to her historical performance(which was when at it’s introduction)

Amagi and Mutsu is currently the two best battleship in overall characteristic. Yes their survivability when not angling is little problematic but at least can ensure survivability with proper angling(which some nations even can’t), and compared to those who have superior survivability, Japanese 16’’ ships have massive firepower supremacy.
No it’s definitely not time for IJN to get new capital ship. It’s French, Italy and USA who needs new capital ship.

I do hope Japan soon enough gets a modernised Nagato but I don’t think that it’s irrelevant that Japan also has had a good spree of top tier additions not limited to two of the best 5 ships in the game. It’s kinda like when Scharnhorst was dominating and then Gaijin added Bayerns just because….
A better armoured Nagato would leapfrog Amagi even. And I’d probably not put Vanguard, Richelieu and Roma on the same level as Amagi at least in terms of game presence definitely. In a 1v1 it’s a bit different.
I do truly think it would just be so poor for game balance for anyone but Japan that it’s not worth it right now. Tosa might be a bit more balanced as the armour would still be manageable.
