LOL Yeah best map in term of sht game design map for high tier that i put that map on ban list without change for years
If you come to me and said that garbage is one of the best map in the game
I guess we not speaking the same language it is the map that you can literally throw away thermal and laser rangefinder stuff out of windows and embrace cluster F
Yes there are enough players because the maps are a face to face brawl in some cases, which means a vast chunk of the vehicles are useless, or it is so unbalanced it is not worth feeding advantages to those already given advantages.
So people quit after one or two deaths and the game finishes quickly, players will ultimately think that next time will be better so queue again for the next match, and so on.
Often the next game it will be their team that stomps and even if they do not do too well it is a win so they queue for the next hoping it will be better.
I would not be surprised if it is all coded to achieve this, queue times are Gaijins holy grail.
How i am able to make a poll in the forums? i swear, everyone i asked so far is fine with waiting up to 1 minute each map if the map is offering proper gameplay and is satisfying. It can even last 20 minutes to finish it like some times u have in sim battle where u play more tactically and slow for the sake of not team killing.
I cant imagine that the majority realy wants que times less than 10 seconds and there for leaving short matches before the 10 minute mark frustrated…
Well sure people love to go there for CQC but there are some spot on desert side that can pretty rack up some kill on hillside that least those brawlers can’t go unpunished or just somewhat prevent too many to go there and i love go to desert side.
Secondly if you have checked how complicated Rhine is, you will find it’s “bigger” than many other maps for its well-separated streets and lanes. Yes I’m criticizing Flanders.
And by this logic, the change of Large Sinai cuts off a lane and put more open part, aka “smaller”
Honest answer: because they are trying to make the game more beginner friendly
But I don’t agree with that philosophy. Map knowledge has always been a key element of the game.
The maps are what bring the most variety when it comes to gameplay. And if that makes the game harder to learn, so be it!
after work and family came online played 3 matches and already have enough, playing now F1 manager again…i am not ruining my off time with this anymore…
The changes have been to benefit CAS. Shrinking the maps keeps players closer together and makes it easier to spot ground targets. Close, urban streets, canyons (38th parallel, Attica) squeeze tanks even closer and reduces escape routes. Flattening hills, marking them out of bounds & removing large trees from all maps reduces cover from the air. Adding the puffing ‘steam’ exhaust smoke makes vehicles easy to spot from a distance.
Gaijin recognise that CAS is so universally popular that they felt there was no need to consult with players before making these changes. After all, nobody has complained about CAS - ever - so it’s easy to understand why they do everything they can to make CAS better. They are truly in touch with the customers.
