If you think Gaijin is greedy you haven’t been in gaming long.
Gaijin is at least as generous as Valve, if not more so; and Valve themselves are seen as generous.
This isn’t my opinion, the data on how much it costs players to play live service games is out there.
$40 a year membership/premium/etc account whatever you want to call it, on sale 2 times a year, is THE cheapest in the industry for a project this large.
War Thunder has spent over $100,000,000 estimated in just their vehicles, let alone all the other features and support systems for the game.
Do they brag about it? No. In-fact, they don’t mention it.
So when you claim “Greed”, you better have played at least 10 other popular MMOs, cause I think only The Elder Scrolls Online is as generous as War Thunder, and that MMO is still more grindy.
I’ve witnessed greed first hand, and while I have my issues with War Thunder thinking 200 hours to complete a tech tree when free to play is fine, I also understand 200 hours isn’t anywhere close to below average in speed for the live service game industry.
Think for yourself, do your own research, and criticize the reality of the game.
Criticizing myths only makes for bad fan fiction.
what a joke. All Valve games provide you with free payed content just for playing several games a week, yet WT only gives you free stuff for spending 10s of hours a week for MONTHS.

1.5 months is how long it took me to finish my first tech tree with a premium account.
It wasn’t the fastest I could go in the slightest, because I was still playing other tech trees at the same time and was only playing 2.5 hours a day on average. 17.5 of my 50 hours a week of gaming for 6 weeks. 105 hours playing other tech trees still, but focusing on… Japan.
None of this has to do with generosity though, as what we’re talking about is unrelated to the costs to us.

this is the 2nd time they released a Russian stuff that fucks up the entire BR bracket this badly (first one being Kh38’s) and its going to take them MONTHS to even try to fix it cuz its making them money. They dont give two shits about balance especially when it comes to Russian TT

Dude, BMPTs have been giving my NATO teams wins at 12.7 because the tank is not good for that BR and people believe it’s OP at 11.3.
And at 11.3 I don’t see them performing anywhere close to as good as MBTs of same-skilled players.

Sadly, they care about simulator battles even less than any other mode. But we keep pressing. Fingers crossed.
All this game is about is sponsorship of russian vehicles when it comes to toptier, that’s why they perform so well in toptier. You’re more likely to win in a match with russia toptier than a NATO nation. The lineup is just to overpowered, they put vehicles in the wrong br range (especially bmpts). But why does Ukraine war take so long? Because in real life russian vehicles aren’t overpowered. Gaijin is straight up pretending that russian tanks are the best out of any nation, it’s all some propaganda stuff.

My Abrams is better than all Soviet tanks in-game.
I’m more likely to win matches with good team mates.
Soviet’s top lineup is average, it’s not even as good as my American lineup.
The fact that Gaijin straight up models Abrams as better than all Soviet MBTs is nice, though my Abrams are under-BR’d.

I just want new maps and removal of BMPT (leave the 72 for all i care) as well as removal of Russias new pantsir Russia definitely didn’t need. Japan needs better spaa at 12.7 more.

when ever 20 people say the sam thing you always disagree and say that this or that happened give me proof but not a screenshots of victory list but actual screenshtos of peoeple using those vehicles in a way you describe and then of a match you won ;)

2- You don’t want evidence, you want something only content creators can gather. I’m not a content creator, so I cannot gather days of footage for you.
2a- Just go watch twitch vods of 12.7 players playing solo for 40 hours and you’ll see a pattern.
I even called out at the beginning of a match when I touched Soviets that we’d lose due to BMPT spam.
The enemy players didn’t believe me, then they won.
Because contrary to unpopular belief, 30mm autocannons at 800mm HEAT penning ATGMs aren’t the best offensive weapons against highly mobile top MBTs.
Insult? Since when stating a fact becoming insult? You think all of us are blind and can’t see what you try to doing in the forum? You always defending every OP vehicle and defending Gaijin for their stupid decisions in almost every post that complain about those vehicle and against the devs. Your actions to me is nothing difference than the slave who bow down to their masters, if you don’t like “slave” word I could change to " collaborators"

What I use to do is share my confusions about peoples’ statements in my post rather than asking for clarification, which I stopped doing.
I’ve never twisted words, though; It was just a poor tactic to ask for clarification on stuff that I stopped.
Learning how to ask for clarification in a universal manner has been among the most difficult learning regiments from 2021 - 2024.
I do apologize if you were on the wrong end of me asking for clarification on one of your posts in that incorrect manner.

That’s some good evidence of me not defending an OP vehicle’s BR.
No where in that post did I mention an opinion about BMPT’s current BR, because I currently have none.
The only thing stated was that it’s not good at 12.7, which is a general fact for all 800mm HEAT warhead missiles and 80mm penning autocannon round vehicles.
If you think that assessment is wrong, you’re more than welcome to provide evidence of getting #1 on multiple 12.7 lineup matches back to back using an autocannon & 800mm HEAT-warhead ATGM vehicle and performing as well as MBTs in records.
For now, all autocannon spam at top tier shows is a losing team in my experience.
Because T-90M is hilariously superior to BMPT, T-80UK is likely a notably better vehicle for top BR than BMPT.
