Let me start out by clarifying how Gaijin currently balances teams. There can only be 4 players on either team that can be top tier.
…
That’s it. That’s the sum totatility of how Gaijin ensures each team has an equal chance of winning. What does this result in? Well, here’s one I just played: Gaijin Entertainment - Single Sign On
Since server replays do not show this feature, unlike in game, our team had a single 7.0 lineup. Everyone else was 6.7. Which doesn’t sound that bad, except for the fact that it was a 7.7 game.
The enemy team had at least one 7.7, four 7.3s, four 7.0s and a mere six 6.7s. This is entirely based on first spawns (And some enemies didn’t have the chance to spawn more than once), so the actual numbers could be even higher.
I’ll give you one guess as to how this game turned out. The only reason we weren’t nuked is because our team collapsed so quickly and so completely, that the enemy M47 wasn’t able to get enough kills fast enough to spawn it before the game was over.
This is, frankly, unacceptable. In a competitive online game, where a sizable proportion of your rewards hinges on your team winning, Gaijin will just hand one team such an overwhelming advantage that there is almost no way for them to lose.
Gaijin needs to ensure that each team has at least a roughly balanced spread of lineups before creating a game.
