what about the premium Jh7 Prototype? does it differ that much different than the TT Jh7?
I only use it to mainly bomb base cuz its premium and rarely ever dog fight with it, I do notice that it beats F4S/J in a turn fight pretty easily but struggle against F18’s
For 11.7 it would be decent if gatewidth wasn’t broken, as of now, it’s easily surpassed by things like the MLD in effectiveness

JH-7s are STR fighters for the purpose of air RB.
They are too slow for bombing, but just the right speed for fighting.

& on top of that they have IRCCM missiles.
The one at 12.3 is a lot better. Twice the missiles and the higher-tier jets usually have hotter engines. PL-5CII are too easily flared by your average ±11.7 jet
idk i just full after burner bee-line to the nearest base and I normally beat most plane there. Planes like mirage, netz, mig23, etc are way faster tho and beat me like every time
yea the PL5EII are so good dude, as a US main who has 0 access to any decent missile for danger-close distances, the PL5EII turns so damn quick and it’s such a nasty missile, aim9L/M could never, i love it. I got soooo many sub-1km head-on kill with the PL5EII, not to mention it just ignore flares if u launch it right behind them, extremely nasty

yea the PL5EII IRCCM is gate width meaning it is easily flared from a distance but will be near impossible to flare up-close. Pair that with it pulling hard right off the rail, it is very good if u use it to shotgun people
u gotta know how to use the missile to get kills with it, know its strength and weakness

if u want near guaranteed kill then launch it sub 1km, works pretty well with my PL5EII

Look at the Su-27 flaring the missiles in pure rear aspect at just 1.2km range… This isn’t normal, and it isn’t anywhere close to what it was before this bug.

I also just noticed that when I fired at 1.3km or so, he only flared after a second so the missile was probably at 1km or less away from him
Near the end we tested PL-5EII which are equally bad since the seeker is the same, he flared a bunch in a row at short range no problem.
Also, the video is 3 months old right now, and the issue is probably 6+ months old and gaijin seems to want to keep them like this (bug reports dismissed/ignored), which means the AIM-9M/AAM-3 are the only decent IRCCM missiles today
wasnt that aim9L? aim9L’s IRCCM is trolly, it will only ignore flare if 1: you are very hot or 2: your flare overlaps your plane and aim9L will just keep tracking you. So when he flared and turned it was enough cuz he wasnt after burning nor is su27 that hot of a plane. He was also using large calibre flares
9L doesnt have IRCCM, I just sent a few as comparison. The video has notes saying which missile was shoot, pretty hard to miss. And in the chat, you can also see me calling them.
