Like this this match already was 1v3 2 minutes ago after I joined, because the MM told me it was 5 on team blue and 5 on team red…then switched to 4 on team Blue 5 on team red as I clicked on “To battle”…yeah total lie, one Yak-28. I then tried out the FFAR’s which didn’t work…killed their Harrier with my F-84F…by nailing something on his last wing with my last ammo.
Then got killed by one of the three active enemies.
And somehow despite being alll alone on my team, the MM thought: “1v3 is not rookie numbers, let’s make it 1v5!”
It’s already bad enough when you allow one team to gain double the strength than the other has, which I’ve seen often enough…but this was just a bad joke.

Eagle Dynamics was working on this, but it got postponed / shelved, for now.
It even had Mouse/Keyboard controls.
This has been going for too long, Initially, it was a random, rare ghost lobby (2 lobbies in the same match). Now it’s up to 3 and as soon as one ends, you get insta botted to the next one, wasting boosters, not able to buy modifications, etc. SUPER annoying.
For me, it’s the opposite—the lobby won’t let me leave. After I press the ‘return to hangar’ button, it takes me to the hangar but then immediately throws me back into the battle. This can happen two to four times before I finally manage to exit the lobby.
What I was describing is when the same happen in a Ghost lobby, sometimes up to 3 or 4 different lobbies huddled together.
I later realized this happened also when it was a regular lobby, as you described. I thought it only happened to ghost lobbies…
If AirSim had the same rewarding as RB, more players would play it, gaijin might start work on it and in the end sim would be more playable, it would get better updates, and loved.
The topic was created 8th of March. How many replies have we got from devs? - Zero.
Are there any Sim-related changes? - Nope.
And will never be, devs are busy with Aces of Thunder that almost fully replicates already existing built-in game mode. Good luck and have fun

They are just ignoring the SIM community. The interaction between Morvan and Smin on the “Next update rumors” thread few days ago was comical. Morvan’s questions were just dodged and ignored like if SIM was just a sub game mode without any interest.
I don’t know why they ignore it.
I think for TOP ROOM, at least the air defense system should undergo some more upgrades. Perhaps upgrading to ITO90 or SA22 can solve a few problems.
The thing is, airfield AA are one of the destroyable AI vehicles on the map, which people sometimes strike with precision weaponry. But if it is too good, it will make the airfield a safer place and at the same time steals a few potential XP points from those liking to focus on ground targets
Would be nice if they add helicopters in to air sim also.
I’d really appreciate this as well. If any of you guys have played DCS, there’s servers like Contention that mesh Helicopters with fixed wing very well. Its definitely doable in a way that’s fair and balanced. We even had unarmed Mi-8s flying along with SARH capable aircraft. It can be done.
Drones would also be a nice addition, not powerfull at all but still fun (I may have a suggestion pending for that)
Oh yeah I loved combined arms. I’d do low nap of the earth ingress with chinooks to a redfor base, unload my apc, then go to work on players while they were on start up. Or use the chinook to drop of tank crates, build a tank, then clear objectives. It was super fun. A lot of people would build “sam cities” too with the Mi-8s to get their kills.
