Are you sure it was an r24r not the r24t? Because unless they shot at you from a blind spot the rwr would detect pretty much all radars

Yes, fix the SPO-15.

Return the RWR to a historically accurate state where the SPO-10/SPO-15 cannot detect PD radar locks like those from an F-4. The ahistorical buffs that the soviets have gotten are extremely annoying

It is about time to be honest. Originally R-73s would have been crazy unfair to have one sided. But now, at 12.7. R-73s are no big deal and I still hate fighting R-27ERs

probably not… r73´s are pretty easy flared at distances greater than 1.2km… and saying the ussr would had an unfair advantage is hillarious, bc aim54 wasnt at the time it was introduced…

R-73 vs Aim-9L?

That would have been very unbalanced.

Remember, that is what most nations were running when the Mig-29 was added. A few like Britain, their best fighter was still the FGR2 with Aim-9Gs.

R-73s would have been crazy unbalanced against Aim-9Gs and Aim-9Ls.

I know that the spo 10 should be unable to, but are you sure that the spo 15 wasnt able either, because even before of the rwr buff the spo 15 was able to detect pd.

just do the same like they did with the r27er. add it if the new rival is far inferior(the mig29 was due to worse fm, useless new feature(r60m´s couldnt do the job) and inferior radar/ radar missiles).

there wouldnt have been some many complaints about the meta back then when both aircraft get their missiles, and giving them a better one(they had one in service) if they fail to meet their role in the update.

MLD have SPO-15(G-I) which dont work on Saphir-23’s(J) band

Spo-15 can’t detect J band radar, which is what the Mig-23 uses.

its so unfair i can’t even dodge a simple AIM-7F when i notch and launch chaffs even at 6km!
