This is why it’s crucial for developers to avoid taking advices from random individuals who make ridiculous statements without verifying their stats!
It’s often individuals with zero experience about a vehicle from a nation they’ve never interacted with. They tend to exaggerate the performance of vehicles they’ve only seen better players handle, lacking firsthand experience. This behavior is detrimental to the game and can negatively impact players who genuinely play those vehicles.

I love people who are incapable of critical thought who claim the only possible way to know something is to send out $60.
You can’t understand the fundamental gameplay of a 4 second autoloader something no other country possibly has especially not the main country that person may play.
It’s not like we didn’t see the BR increase of those 4 second autoloading tanks over the past three patches because their performance is simply too high despite struggling to frontally pen most tanks at their BR.
I can’t even begin to think how strong a 4 second auto loading vehicle might be if it was the fastest tank in the match while also being able to frontally pen every tank at its BR range. It’s just impossible for me to comprehend how strong that would be. Maybe if I spend $60 to buy the tank I’ll finally come to understand it. Or I could just play France.
Fuji is fine as a premium.

You can’t just shoot first. You need to disable the tank’s gun with your first shot or you will die as his follow up shots will be faster than yours.
Such as? There are no rank 7 premiums that should be rank 8 for example.
Pretty sure there are no rank 6 premiums that should be rank 7 either.

Position during battle is dynamic you’re not guaranteed to have a full shot on the side with two crew members.

I jokingly say to my friends that the type 90 is better than the type 10, because of its better mobility and the clutches I pull off with it, but the minor details between the two matter a lot. 8x zoom and first gen thermals are far different from the accommodations the type 10 provides.
Regardless, the type 90 is in every way, shape, and form, a mildly better frontly armored leopard 2a4 with a better reload and shell two steps in br higher than the German counterpart

You want the Type 90 to remain at 11.0 BR, I understand. I wanted the Leclercs to remain at 11.3, unfortunately they’re not balanced at 11.3 as BR decompression was necessary for the game’s health. Now they’re 11.7.
If you knew the game, you’d understand the different nations and their capabilities. France’s mid tier is built around 4 second / 6 second autoloaders. I have played them all extensively as I grinded France’s tech tree.
The only performance difference between the French 4 second auto loaders and the Type 90 is the Type 90’s ability to frontally penetrate any tank it comes against.
With 483mm of pen you will not struggle against any tank’s armor other than the Leopard 2A7’s which everyone struggles against.
The optics would matter if Gaijin’s map design didn’t favor engagements <1000 meters.
“awful thermals” have you played the US? Germany? They both use Gen 1 Thermals in similar BR MBTs
“awful protection” which is completely counteracted by the mobility which is the fastest of any MBT at any BR
They have literally zero armor against same tier darts. It’s a Leo2A4, with less armor, but almost a full BR higher BECAUSE OF THE RELOAD SPEED. Oh yeah, and almost forgot, only 3 crew so oneshot kills are both easy and common.
It’s already balanced, you dying to it doesn’t make it OP.

Believe it or not most MBTs at top tier don’t have functional armor, it’s just Germany / Sweden / Russia that gets to enjoy functional armor.
US / Britain get turret armor, China gets functional UFP and Turret armor at the expense of an extremely large LFP.
France is “better” armor but it isn’t going to stop the dart of any vehicle at its BR range.
Because of the reload speed the increased penetration and the increased mobility, yes.
The reload speed is the main contention of the Type 90 tanks. The dart is functional against vehicles at or above its tier.
Russian and French tanks operate the same amount.
Me dying to the vehicle isn’t what makes it “overpowered”. What makes it overly strong is the ability to win any engagement where you don’t get first round off or you fail to disable the vehicle’s gun with your first shot.
And its current BR it can face LEO2A4s which are much worse than it on every measure.
These are the few cases where I can say Statshaming is a good thing. I do not condone it overall but if it is used healthily to prove people wrong go for it.
