Gaijin, stop killing maps! All red zones should been removed

@Smin1080p_WT @Stona_WT

You killed a lot of maps with this stupid red zones and now you seems to decide to turn maps into gladiator arena. Are you even realize how stupid it is?
I wan to play full-sized maps. Same as most players, i suppose.
If your map desingers cant make anything real good besides spray red paint all over around and breaking bridges, then maybe hire new map desingers?
People play War Thunder for 10 years, and even if some map had obviously problematic spots it never requires such radical and dumb approach. No less than 90% maps never had ANY problems with spots and flanking.

STOP DOING THIS! And revome all red zones from all maps.

You need to understand what red zones are for. Map borders when there isn’t a physical border there. You can’t remove red zones because they serve a purpose.

Also, analyze the map changes more, instead of just of thinking “map smaller=bad”.

Hundreds of thousands players played more than 10 years without it and had no problems.
I’ve neve even saw anyone ask for it.

Well, gladiador fights on arena isnt bad too.
Not meant you should turn everything into it.

Red zones are borders to the map. Certain red zones should be expanded and changed, but they do serve a purpose. I would like to see the map border on Golden Quarry expanded more, and made to follow the terrain better. Same with putting the large version of Maginot back to how it used to be.

All I am saying, is try to come up with more examples instead of saying that smaller maps are bad because they are small.

Also, I think the vast majority of maps in WT are quite bad, and many of the map changes have had negative parts to them.

Despite a year of relentless negative feedback about the changes, there has been ZERO consultation with customers.

We dont need stuff like that because:

  1. There is no need for a physical border. If you drive put the map area you get “go back in 30 sec” message.
  2. There actually were physical borders, ypu can find them in the old maps, where map design was still good, for example Ash river. There are the tank blockages, i dont know the english name for them.

On a real battelfield there are no “red no go zones”
Earlier it was like this: if someone finds a good spot on a map, let him have it, and remember where it was, so that you can use the spot yourself the next time.
