This I get. I would have to redo all my tanks for Sim or I would be asking for trouble.
Most of them are covered in bushes for a start. I wouldn’t be able to see a damn thing except leaves.
the bushes don’t help very well, for example the decals of an Italian Sherman are on the side and if he stands in front of you or with his back you can’t see anything because none of them voluntarily put more decals on the front so that everyone can see that he is playing Italy 😂

The copy paste element is the reason I don’t do sim ,as much as I would like to play it . Especially if they are still giving out bans for team killing.
Trouble with War Thunder is that they only have one system for all the eras and all the game styles. Same tanks ,same maps. It’s pretty poor if you think about it.

Most of the maps are quite bad and arcade-heavy. I like to play SPG’s and often get maps where I wouldn’t go in life as a soldier with them, the same applies to SPAA’s never would I want to stand on a street where I limit my own view but well that’s another topic now, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I have just returned to the game to find A LOT of my old vehicles no longer have the decals and customisations I had done to them.
I remember mentioning this when gaijin did something with digits a year or so ago, literally all numbers disappeared from my vehicles.
Now it is just loads of customisations I did, such as the USSR I-16 type 5 was covered in 4 oversized Hungarian roundels that just gave the plane an odd look, the roundel was not recognisable, and was just done to personalise my OG I-16 (about 5 years ago).
Has now been removed and I cannot replace it, as the Hungarian roundel is now only available to Axis forces.
What is the point of this? WT is hardly the most historically accurate game, and this does not impact sim.
