Gaijin should be more open to vehicle removal and more strict about vehicle addition

They also just gave the US another F16, its pretty much next in line after Russia getting stuff.

Two tomcats, two f16s and what does everyone else get? Nothing.

They need to just stop giving RU and US stuff for awhile.

Indeed.

Time for some German Leopard’s, Panther II, Tiger II 10.5cm and Flakpanzer 341.

I mean they are adding the AMX as I showed and as yes it did exist - it just has no place in the game. Its hard to balance - and its going to be a hard tank to play.

No place in game? The game would be horribly boring if it was only meta MBTs…

Having unusual vehicles like this is one of the things War Thundar has over practically all other games.

And if it really performs so badly, just give it a lower BR.In my eyes anything that isn’t objectively worse than the worst 1.0 of its gamemode has a place in game.

Gaijin cant balance them though

Like I said, while they often have issues balancing, that isn’t impossible. This is what the BR system is for.

What they should do is look at the vehicle stats in relation to the average percormance of the player playing them, to not get skewed results from more or less skilled players using a vehicle. However that is just off-topic now.

My opinion remains the same, any plane better or equal to the Po-2 and any tank better than the AMC 34 YR has a place in game, and if it’s really a problem for players, just folder it to make it optional. An example would be the Type 60 APC, soon foldered with the Type 60 SPRG despite being a completely different vehicle because of this, but still available to anyone that wants it.

Arguably, if you have enough vehicles in a tree for at least every major BR bracket, and you can untie certain vehicles from the regular progression (e.g. folders), you can add vehicles that are interesting but are not meta or difficult to balance.
This would give players the ability to just take whatever lineup they consider fun without worrying much about performance. Of course, Gaijin would also have to solve the major issue of incentives in game, which encourage more botting and less actual entertainment.

Remove Ju288 from the game, compensate the GE, so tier 4 props at that BR becomes playable again instead of always fighting 4 288s and 335 and maybe a K4 and be bored to death, or be the only fighter against a team of P51H, F2G, and 4B

THANKS.

That is strange because they used wooden mockups for the IS line of tanks, two of which are in game never worked IRL and were cancelled.

Man, I don’t want even that. I just want Israel, since I already reached nearly the top with it, to be competitive. That’s it. I just want IFVs, LTs, SPH, SPAA, and that’s it.
Either that, or Gaijin reduces costs for Japanese, Italian, and Israeli premiums across the board.

That likely won’t happen. Japan has sanctioned russia over its illegal war in Ukraine and inhumane actions. Japan also has russia on a list of unfriendly nations. So, that is going to likely be a no. And russia has Japan listed as an “Unfriendly Countries List (Red)”.

I think Taiwan should be the same with china. Given its own tree or add Taiwan onto japan instead. Feels overly political

This is absolutely correct. This has been long overdue. But we know that will NEVER happen because big daddy russia won’t let it. We cannot forget the people who oversee this game are slaves to the russian higher ups and anything like this would likely get shut down.

More like china will block war thunder in china if they try and they dont want to risk that.

Their were more than one players who said that War Thunder isn’t as popular in china as we are led to believe. He said that russians play pretending to be chinese using hacks to save face.

All the IS tanks in WT had working prototypes.
Sweden is on top, but it isn’t “small” I guess.

Japan is strong currently, and is one of the most well treated tech trees in the game.

@Morvran
China in WT is just called China.
Taiwan’s real name is Republic of China, they are still China.

Same with Israel and Italy, but the US and Germany are sometimes getting good vehicles despite being on the “super unfriendly list”, so I doubt that.

Anyway, I agree with the sentiment, but I want to keep this thread open so I’d appreciate if we leave the political comments outside.

That’s about as weak as an argument can get.
The US is called United States of America, so I understand that every state that stands united with America should get access to its vehicles, right?

Well, Germany is a United Country again since 1989, soo…
