Gaijin’s BR Logic: AMX-32 to 9.7 but Turm III Still at 8.3?

How is the Turm III still at 8.3? It has one of the best guns at the BR, great mobility, and a lineup that just stomps everything it sees, yet Gaijin leaves it untouched while it farms entire teams. And don’t say ‘but it has no armor’ — neither does half the stuff it’s clubbing. It makes no sense that this thing is allowed to sit there.

Also, let’s not forget the AMX-32, which got bumped from 9.3 to 9.7 just because it has slightly better pen than the AMX-32 (105), meanwhile the T-64 at the same BR has way more armor and way more mm of pen and that’s somehow fine? Where’s the consistency?

And here’s the kicker — the Type 90 got uptiered just because players were cracked in it, so Gaijin decided to punish the tank. But the Turm III? Nope, that one stays low because they know if they uptier it, fewer people will buy it. Classic Gaijin logic: punish some tanks because of player stats, but protect the moneymakers no matter how broken they are.

Is this lineup in the room with us now?

The Turm is undertiered, yes. But if you’re attempting to say it’s even close to equivalent to the AMX-32, you’re insane or completely uninformed. It can be killed by a machine gun. It has a 105mm with no darts. It has neither LRF (no rangefinder at all, actually) nor thermals. It’s two tonnes heavier and lacks a reverse gearbox.

If the T-64B is too strong why don’t we bump it up?

Nobody’s saying the Turm III is literally on par with the AMX-32 in terms of tech . That’s not the point. The point is BR balance. At 8.3 the Turm is still massively overtuned for what it fights. Its gun and mobility. Meanwhile, Gaijin uptiers the AMX-32 by 0.4 BR just for a slight pen difference, while other vehicles like the T-64B sit with way more armor and way more pen at the same BR. The issue isn’t ‘Turm vs AMX tech specs,’ it’s Gaijin’s inconsistent logic when adjusting BRs. If they can uptier the Type 90 because players perform too well in it, why not the Turm III when the same thing is happening? That’s the problem.

and for Air support
Ar 234

So a premium MBT
A decent but unremarkable SPAA
Unstabilized 8.0 HEAT launching TD (that France also has)
Poor ATGM carrier with low penetration, only one ATGM RTF, low range, and poor survivability
WWII bomber
Plane almost every nation has
No armour
No IFV
No light tank

That fact is that Germany has possibly the worst 8.3 lineup of any nation

why would you bring WW2 bomber to BR 8.3 lineup?

wobbly Unstablized MBTs/light tanks vs Turm III be like:

Turm III could go easily higher in battle rating with no issues but comparing to a vastly superior vehicle is something else. Both do have decent firepower, while Turm III excels in punching faces it can’t take the hit in return while the AMX-32 have some armor to sustain small caliber autocannons. This battle rating change recently was just moving some vehicles, it wasn’t a decompression, so mentioning the T-64B has no sense since it wasn’t moved and probably won’t be moved for another long period of time.

Type 90 and variations has been moved to a higher battle rating because it can face its battle rating bracket with no issues at all, it has almost double reload speed than Turm III, better mobility and armor. I’ve had great matches in the Type 90 at high tier matches with no issues. To be honest I agree, Gaijin may be or is at the moment protecting ‘moneymaking’ vehicles from battle rating changes, but since it wasn’t a gamemode decompression, you shouldn’t had expected much since most battle rating changes when isn’t a decompression are rather questionable and has little to no effect in the game overall.

Next time leopard 1a5 will be 9.7

Gepard is straight overpowered against both ground and air.
