Russian 12,0 tanks are bad imo. Buk seems bad to me too. At least in these few days, it hasn’t caused me any problems
Numerous F&F helicopters have been implemented thus far without causing such an uproar. This is solely due to the presence of Gen4 CAS and the Revenge Jet. While I agree with the LMUR’s operational effectiveness, this power balance stems from the new radar system and the F&F’s role as an easy-kill mass-production toy.
The very toys you seek to enhance are the root of all evil. Helicopters ought to be the natural enemy of SAMs, yet you have killed too many fighter jets— the natural enemy of helicopters.
”Furthermore, there are also players who have only grinded the Ground Tree and not the Air Tree. They are then at a disadvantage and cannot, for example, shoot down the helicopters with their Eurofighter etc.”
It’s like challenging people to rock-paper-scissors when you can’t play scissors. Unless you learn to play scissors to beat paper, a sure victory will be difficult. In recent years, the BR and SP of air defence-only fighters have been favoured compared to multi-role aircraft of the same generation.
Something not happening to our eyes does not equate to something not in development.
Rotor modeling would fix ARHs not seeing them easily, and that should be prioritized over anything else.
the buk can be very powerful in the right conditions since you have to kill both launchers. as they work independently. But SPAA usuall can be countered quite easily if you are smart about it. The thibg currently is the Mi 28. With the Lemurs and 360° DIRCM its almost impossible to kill.
Seems Gaijin wants helicopter to dominate again.
12.0 is new ~9.3 when it comes to CAS.
no they won’t. Its only russian Helicopters in sepcific. They where always over performing but now its getting redoliculous again.
The Apaches are decent though most of them lack flares and the accuracy of the turret is insanely shit.
The PARS 3s are a joke, they miss 70% of the time and when they hit, they hit the tracks or the roof MGs or some other unimportant corner of the tank. Of course that doesn’t happen to the Lemurs, wonder why
Not sure it has 360 dircm.
indeed.
They are :
a) dramatically overperforming in how they actually work
and
b) implemented in the most lazy way possible
It’s very sad.
this thread has had some of the dumbest counter arguments I have ever seen.
post: iris-t doesn’t work because the resistance it is supposed to have agains ldricm is not in the game
counter argument: use something else
like wtf
that is not even the post
i see a lott of people say that you just need to use cover and a SACOLS SPAA.
the problem with this is that SACOS SPAA need LOS and now that the hellis have fire and forget so they can dramatically reduce their time in LOS while still getting a missile to target.
also using a SACOLS SPAA to counter the helli leaves your team mostly open to the problem that the new SPAA was supposed to fix namely the long range planes that we are only getting more of.
and before some people say I am just jumping on the “russian bias hate train” i used to think before the new SPAA systems that all planes with IR guided missiles and bombs were op not just the russian ones. honestly I still think the IR guides missiles and bombs are to op. also of the new hellis I think the AH 64E is by far the best
LDIRCM helicopters will dominate for obvious reasons.
Mi-28, 64E and Z-10.
I think stats of the German Tiger will kindly disagree with this statement.
PARS are on the weaker end of the FnF munitions, so I can see where he’s coming from. However you should be launching two per MBT and you’ll see a better success rate with it.
The literature cited to claim IRIS-T’s resistance to LDIRCM consists of only a few lines in the developer’s promotional pamphlet, and they have been unable to provide any further evidence.
If you want to take down a mouse with a pea shooter’s LT, please present literature describing a vulnerability that can be exploited by a pea shooter. At the very least, in actual combat, you’d bring a larger caliber weapon than a pea shooter. Isn’t it foolish to lament that it can be taken down with a pea shooter when there’s no evidence to support it?
There appears to have been an issue with the translation. To prove this, we must conduct " experiments ", collect data, and submit it as a paper :P
pretty much every heli is colder than the F117 with heat reduction so its BS
oh and as a bonus… helis with LDIRCM do not need to bring Flares.
yeah. all those vluable CM slots can go to chaff
Where did the sphere-sized protection come from?
Last thing I’ve heard was the PARS was the best FnF weapon found on helicopters before this new update. Them missing 70% of the time and in other 30% of times them hitting tracks or MGs simply doesn’t happen.
