Gaijin refuses to balance LDIRCM Helicopters

Gaijin refuses to balance the game by any means necessary. It has been proven several times that IRIS-T is resistant to LDIRCM (statements by Diehl). The report was accepted by a BGM. Now we have received news that this accepted report will most likely also be labeled “Not A Bug.” There is currently no way for the IRIS-T SLM or IRIS-T SL (EldE 98) to destroy LDIRCM helicopters.

Dear Gaijin, this is not balanced. These helicopters have the potential to wipe out the entire team with their FaF weaponry, but there is no way to counter them.

I think the bigger issue is that the LDIRCM isn’t even modelled correctly. Right now its just a magical force field around the helicopters.

It should be possible to overwhelm these systems.

Also, the current counter is to use your older SPAA with SACLOS.

FlaRakRad, ITO 90M, ADATS, PANTSIR etc.

However, people should not be forced to play with older system, if the current system should actually be capable of deal with this helis

There are plenty of options for destroying an IRIS-T SLM. Helicopters can hide behind mountains, etc., or simply spam ammunition, which confuses the IRIS-T SL missile and radar.

Not just LDIRCM.

Helis having no radar signature as well, which means that ARH seekers are also rather weak

Well that IS the purpose of SPAA, it’s just chance based whether that 70sp gets you a godlike SAM, or something pathetic, like SPYDER

gluttony is one of the more popular sins of the SPAA playerbase.
you may overwhelm ldircm with some luck, manufacturer promises may not count as proof (for gaijin and others), and the game only has like 3 ldircm equipped copters which are still very vulnerable to saclos from adats, ito, pantsir, etc.

sorry but you will be forced to exit when a tank pushes your corner of the spawn as well. speaking of your team, youre not the only spaa in it, are you? not after enemy cas makes a few kills

Let’s assume a Mi28NM is 13 km away and fires its LMUR. What can an Flarakrad, Adats, OSA, etc. do against it?

ADATS missile is a 10KM range, and it cannot lock anything beyond 9KM anymore.

I tried the Sky Sabre in GSB earlier. There was nothing I could against those helis either

move (too difficult for most) or pop smoke (too difficult for most). at that range f&f missile from a heli is a nothingburger
