if i were to guess id say that the devs made it so the engine doubles the sectors
one for left one for right
in order to make the left and right sections of smth like the ah-64e easier and only require one set of variables instead of one for each side.
so this would be a reasonable side-effect of doing it like that
It doubles nothing. It is just 360 instead of for example 180 or something around it. It makes a sphere instead of a hemisphere.
It is human error here.
To make this clear, azimuth and elevation sector works in a ± way, so if it says 150, it splits it into -75 and +75. That is why setting it to 180, would make a bottom hemisphere with a blindspot at the front, due to laser not having ability to pass through heli hull.
Yes, but that is a human error of them setting it at 360
Intentional it seem, as they are yet to correct an error community easly identify, but they also shut down most reports about it.
honestly, couldn’t disagree more. Pars/Spikes suck ass. Sometimes even 3 or 4 shot get eaten. Since they fire line of sight instead of top attack as they should they usually get eaten by armor or tracks.
My ratios for UHT that ?kinda? work.
Western MBT - 2,
Chinese/rusian - 3,
Western light vehicles - 1,
rusian/Israeli light vehicle (bmp usually take 1, but you rarely see them anyway) - 2,
ITO - 2,
ADATS - 2,
All other(including new) western spaa - 1,
Pantsir - 8 (sprinkle),
Buk - 16, 6 for the radar, another 2 sending one per launcher (low odd gambling) → Reload → 4 per launcher.
Forgot something?
They need to bring hull break back, this Pantsir should have been in pieces, doesn’t matter if the shrapnel didn’t reach the crew the whole back section should be gone…
So it’s a gamebreaking bug for as long as it’s convenient for them, right?
Very, well, convenient for them…
I think a time has come to demand some transparency on their inner processes by that point.
Imagine update “Bughead”.
–Sorry guys, no new tanks or planes or whatever this update, we just decided that game became hardly playable so here fixes for all the bugs…
