Gaijin please stop with the small maps in Top Tier

I actually like Carpathians just wish it was a little wider side to side. And that is a good point about the spawns

The community makes up a very small, but vocal, minority of the player base.

so not true most prolly just say fack it and leave eventually

In regards to the Fields of Normandy, something I’ve been doing that increases my fun on this map - I drive straight near the center of the map near the big building but don’t cap, I hide by the bushes and can snipe left or right while they’re coming and going, usually not looking for anyone there and surprise them. You can do this from both spawns. Just my personal preference and it’s made for some good battles when teammates all join in left and right at the same time.

That’s wrong. And 10 year old kids who play 2 hours a week don’t count. Veterans and skilled players like long range.

Look on r/warthunder, they are 50/50 for and against the changes.

People who have played for a long time, and are active in the community are more likely to support larger maps, with longer engagement distances than those who aren’t as active, and those who don’t play as much.

If your bad

No, he has a point. It is a great map, with many different routes you can take, you are constantly moving and watching out for enemies, and you can be very sneaky despite it’s small size,

It’s impossible to have a “best” map in WT, but for me, its easily top 3.

The problem with Rhine and other CQ maps is its not really skill based. You can’t move around because to many alleyways and spots to get shot. It’s basically camp a corner, or fly around until you get shot in the back.

The skill comes from being able to move, not get shot, and noticing the enemy first. Map knowledge is key.

Some CQC maps are like what you described (Sweden, and Sun City) but Rhine is different.

They require more skill than sitting hulldown, not moving, and using an LRF at range.

the park is your friend

just realized i havent gotten a white rock fortress match yet is it even in the game anymore?

I usually play B and C only, if you can control these two then the rest of the game is just clean up since these points are easy to hold, or sometimes I go flank people who are in A and pick a few players and the game is pretty much won.

yea i never bother with a unless the enemy pops up near our spawn on either side

Another way round :)
Best map, where every class is playable

Buddy, closefighting are more skill based than long range duels.

In some maps you don’t even need to get to the edge of the map to get the timer:

How lazy are these limits designed that you cannot even try to find some cover 160m away from the only objective of the match.

How do you come up with this dumb infoimage when the map is literally perfectly symmetrical?

+1, I have seen at least 10 themes complaining about the map being too small within a month, and I hope gaijin can take this issue seriously, higher level competitions require larger maps
