The leopard 2a5 and 2a6 even the 2pso do have much worse armor than the leopard 2a7 or strv 122 at the same br even worse than something like the Abrams sep that have better thermals and engine smoke 50 cal machine gun and multi purpose shell or the ariete merkava with laser warning reservers maby the best way to balanced out is making them reload a bit faster to be equally good

The ariete and Merkava both suffer quite heavily from other things like uhm armor and mobility.
LWS are mostly just a “nice to have” since it will only really be usefull when fighting Ka-52s since maps for the most part arent exactly big enough to use LRs
Nether the 2pl and the 2a5 have a good armor it’s a massive advantage when you can know that you are locked by a laser guided bomb or a hellfire so lunching smoke and you are saved

Still one of the strongest top tier in the game even after the newest MBT being added. And they are far from the worst, UK/ITA/Isreal still waiting for their stuff to be fixed or even buff to be more competitive. All you did was list some of the few tank in the game and use that as a justification to buff leo. When they clearly doesn’t need it. Get good
As a 2a5/2a6/2a7 player i honestly think this is unnecessary, GER toptier is incredibly strong

Merkava the only mbt that can’t be killed by one shoot from almost any side and as I mentioned it does have laser warning and a proximity shell and hard kill active protection system and at top of that you guys have get a reload buff ariete i so good at the moment having a high power to weight ratio and higher gen thermals and also getting a reload buff

I can’t say i’ve used any toptiers other than GER but if someone like me with incredible skill issue can rack up 8-10 kills games consistently then its a pretty good tank
I have 3 nation , one of them is a minor. Currently grinding the 4th. Just checked your stats , you are a germain main , your top tank are either premium or the top of the line. The “USSR and US” you have are premium.

If you consider yourself as a good player you could get decent matches with everything in this game
i don’t, i suck pretty bad at toptier and i can say that the 2a7 does in fact carry me heavily. plus, both the 2a5 and the 2pl have their own strengths, and i personally like the speed of the 2a5 over the 2a7
