Gaijin makes Germany Useless

No they don’t lol

Yeah never forget when the MLD was added and the solution for the US was a… F-4J.

That was a rough set of months.

I was highlighting the irony that this german player who complains about everyone getting leopards is, in the same post, asking for an F-16, but that works too, lol.

Even worse lol. I made the comment earlier in the thread for the US lol- we have practically no unique fighter in our tech tree after the P-80. Anything we get, another nation gets, and often times better- look at the Sabres or the F-4s as an example.

US, the worlds largest exporter of weapons. A nation known for going out of their way to make sure other nations cant export their own weapons wherever possible (Like ASRAAM block 1 being export restricted because it used a few US parts and they didnt want people buying it)

Of course everyone usually ends up using their stuff.

Every nation sells their old military vehicles. It’s not unique to the US. The US just happens to have the largest military in the world, so it happens more.

We could give Israel an arab sub tree with all the older russian vehicles.

But basically every nation ended up using F-86s, F-4s and F-16s because they were sold cheap or other options made hard to get.

And the Leo 2s are some of the most widely exported and used tanks in Europe. So of course everyone ends up getting one.

My point is not “oh poor US”, and more “it happens rough luck”. It’s inevitable that other nations end up with US gear- as it is inevitable that other nations end up with German gear. So.

Yes I hate copy paste, and yes I don’t want more of it. But ultimately I can’t stop it and I know that. And in all honesty, it’s kind of Refreshing to see the US not being the one getting its tanks copy pasted everywhere for once.

Yep that is the case.

Kinda like how a lot of nations bought Hawker Hunters like Switzerland, and now Germany has the best Hawker Hunter and 2/3 of Britain’s are almost unplayable currently and the other third is not doing that hot.

Yeah not really the same at all. Britain is also perfectly fine currently aside from a few issues at top tier.

German mains like to complain that they dont have the best Leopard. So its similar.

UK needs half of its vehicles deleted and totally remodeled from scratch. But that wont ever happen. But it is nice that Britain is finally getting an IFV equal to the PUMA. Only taken 2 years

Didn’t they do something similiar when they were competing with Sweden for a country to use their jets?

I would not be surprised. I think they tried to get the Eurofighter programme scrapped as well. Like they kept offering the UK and Germany aircraft like the F-15. (I think the UK may have even been offered the F-22)

not true the Tornado F3 Late (FSU) will be also at 12.7 but is far less manoeuvrable they both should be moved to 12.3 honestly

I guess the 2A5, 2A6, PSO and PL all no longer exist and aren’t effective anymore which really fucks italy with their Arietes

its only been 2 years, if I wanted to be spiteful I could say wait another 3 (like the UK did only just now getting the desert warrior) but I wont hopefully it comes soon

its funny because we could block a lot of use wepons as well like the ASRAAM (since its better then the 9X) and the F35 (uses a british engine)

really nice example with the F-4J

You know what’s even better? Having a Phantom that is to all intents and purposes an F-4J but shorter range BVRAAMs… and then having that same aircraft when America got its neat little upgrade called the F-14… and then not getting a certain missile truck that might’ve given the F-14 a run for its money.

But hey, who am I to say that British air suffers. On the bright side we have a couple of platforms that will upset people no end because well… they’re pretty lethal.

We ignore ground because British Top Tier there is a write off: we get a worse ADATs because no gun, we get Chally 2s with a gaping big weakspot…

And Naval no one plays so it doesn’t matter (still not modelling any of the radars properly I see Gaijin)

In summary, America clearly suffers more, AIM-9X when

The long and short with the EF program is for whatever reason the Germans were fascinated with a radar (name escapes me, MSD2000?) which was worse than ECR-90. No one is actually entirely clear on why the Germans wanted to use it (other than supposed compatibility with the F-4s they still had) but basically the only group who would gain from it (obviously) was Hughes… an American group. And American export controls would’ve basically handed a huge lever on where EF could or could not be exported to. Which was an economic interest given how many people have or have not bought EFT. Unsurprisingly every other government (the UK with some gentle persuasion by Ferranti) kicked back and stuck with ECR-90.

The danger with going to MSD2000 is it would’ve meant that the EFT didn’t perform as well as it should’ve and while it wouldn’t have caused it outright cancellation, exporting EFT would’ve been nigh on impossible.

Maybe even ended up having export restrictions as well. meaning stuff like the Saudi purchase may have not have happened

Almost certainly would have. Saudis had bought F-15s because they lacked something European that did the job, and they would’ve bought American again had they not had the choice.

Yeah, hence why

The F-14A was introduced earlier than it should have been. Gaijin just wanted to profit off of the Top Gun movie release.

The trade off of the ADATS is that you can actually see where you are firing if it is above 59 degrees since your Gun sight isn’t attached to your gun.

M1s have the turret ring issue, where 88mms can pen them. Not its the same- I recognize that the Challys are way worse off- but it’s not like it doesn’t exist.

That’s not what I want, nor is that what I am suggesting, and I think you are well aware of that. You are intentionally being a prick for no good reason, other than because I said something you don’t agree with. You all complain about Britain and then when no one supports you, you wonder why: perhaps the attitude may be causing people to not want to support your needs or wants.
