I think he means heli rush and will not having atgm first so shooting KA-50 should in fact very easy since they need to hover lower to get hit with the unguided rockets.

pray to the snail the map has good visibility
pray the sound system is working
pray the heli doesn’t see you first
pray the heli pilot is within 6km (highly doubt it its a vikhr)
pray that missile doesn’t lose lock due to the amount of flares and ground clutter
pray the heli isn’t behind a mount
meanwhile you:
fly low
use thermals
stay behind terrain
stay 6km+ away
NOT TO MENTION
you have a minimum engagement distance of about 400m
you cannot kill a camping heli that’s above you

ka50 is heli rush cancer. Arguably there are helicopters lower in br that are more effective when it comes to anti ground
true … there is nothing more pathetic than this game, ka50 stands in the air at a distance where my usa AA has no chance of targeting it and destroys me without much trouble. one death and I leave this game, it is embarrassing how SU planes, KA50 and someone fly without any problems ground targets.
are you using the toyota? its a stinger problem, stingers in wt are ass as a russian main
It’s a modified stingers, it’s closer to the strelas missile than stingers due to optical tracking, but it’s very hit or miss sometimes
Bro the KA50’s aren’t much of a problem, the fucking SU-34’s are way way more annoying the past 5-7 games have been mostly them killing me. I swear top tier is getting more and more frustrating by the day.
just saying remember that the KA-50 is 11.3, the SU-34 is 12.7
The KA-50 still can be a massive issue just at lower BRs, at 12.7 i agree the KA-50 is not realy an issue enough strong spaas.
If you meet KA-50s at 10.3 trough uptier , thats where the issue comes from
The fact I’m dealing with 12.7 aircraft at 11.7(my best tanks atm) and my best SPAA is a fucking XM975 or LAV-AD is some level of bullshit. I’m basically forced to play CAS/CAP until I can unlock the ADATS, which I heard isn’t good against it either. Amazing.
