F4 is 4th gen.
The tier stuff is not perfect, i would change it to generation’s and have BR with in each generation and maybe have a few flying floaters that fit inbetween generation’s 😆
the F4 is a late 3rd gen. 4th gen is stuff like F16 Mig29

That’s wouldn’t work.
Javelin Mk.9 is technically Gen2 but its performance is pretty bad so, if it fought against MiG-19s or F-100s, it would almost certainly lose.
I’m going to let you know that when somebody says “separate the supersonics from the subsonics”, they generally mean to EXEMPT obvious exemptions such as what you’re bringing up. That said, they also don’t mean a literal hard wall (some do but those ppl are generally unreasonable) between subsonics and supersonics. They generally mean they want a larger gap so the late subsonics just aren’t fighting the supersonics every single match they play.
Hunter F.58 would just go to like 10.0, Super Etendard would be like 10.3-10.7, A-4N would be ~9.7-10.0, and the harriers would be 10.0 generally.

F-4 is very much a 3rd gen aircraft and this includes everything from the F-110 to the F-4S.
