Hispano 20mms with ground belts shred anything though, my most played vehicle is the spit mk24 for a good reason and that reason is removing CAS players from the game and them giving them their own treatment
Yeah, the Hispanos are good, I usually run stealth belts (when HE works)
My fav is the Plagis Spitfire. Its the only premium on the British TT that I think might be a tad OP. It performs as well as the Griffon Spits but is only 5.7

I guess you’ve never taken the wyvern out for a spin? its got a payload to steal bases from bombers, guns that kill anything in a head-on and is so fast nothing catches it so you can ignore a turnfight
Not in ARB, its my go-to for naval CAS.
In my opinion, the only OP thing about it, is the airspawn, remove that and it would be fine.
im not too sure, ive been in games where my squadmates was in a fighter and I in wyvern and I’ve been faster back to the battle than they were after we resupplied at the same time
I’ve been using it to get enough SP to drop 65G’s on some foreheads at top tier. Frankly I don’t think there is any BR where it is bad, its only limited by how terrible the map is.
map is its big limitor, you can rek basically anything at top tier from the sides and rear, honestly i have struggled more with it at its br then higher, as you run into stuff like the t32, t29 and t34 American tanks which sometimes whiff rounds
it was good. it still is, but half your problems revolve around:
- no viable AA
- no realistic lineup (7.3 got bonked, 7.7 is kinda ehhh…)
I mean the 8.3 Lineup still works just u can’t have a chieftain in it…
Don’t get me wrong, there are workable lineups… just they’re not nearly as good as they were… ohhhh that 7.7 lineup was nutty
That’s the biggest point, I don’t want it to be moved to 8.0+ not because it will be bad but because 8.0+ is bad. Low tier is fun but anything above 7.7 and you start to see tanks that simply ruin your day just by being in the game.

I dont really use SPAA as i prefer to spawn a spitfire to abolish cas, man the centurion mk3 and action X work well
Watch it you may call upon their defenders. They will shout at you intill blue trying to explain that they would rather use a chieftain mk 5 over the t55am because it doesn’t get a good apfsds round…. Delusional.
I got my centurion mk5/1 for that. A centurion with a 50cal is something else, combine that with my avre, strike master and G6 and I got all my bases covered. Add on the fox and you got your self a nuke lineup. Who needs an spaa when you have the G6. Not like we got anything anyway.
I like SPAA as it gives me a backup should I (for whatever reason) fail to get the spawn points to get my own fighter and make everyone miserable as an Air RB main stomps them
one should be much better than the other (quick hint - it’s not the way it is in game :3)

Laser range finder was denyed for the mk 5 because apparently the mk5/2 isn’t a mk5 chieftain. The mk5/2 has the upgraded laser range finder while all chieftains after the mk3 had one by default. Because somehow giving it would make it too good for 8.7? Not like the t55am has it… maybe because by accepting it we could argue for the l23 round as it also came with the changes to the ammo storage to allow for the new round.

Yeah, I don’t think l23 is necessary if they fix the apds eventually. But the base mk5 should get a laser range finder with the mk5/2 denoting the upgrade they gave the laser range finder. But who cares about that when we could get an aps system on the chieftains and challenger 1s which is basically just a search radar with twin 7.7 machine guns that shoot down atgms lol.

We get that a lot. So many issues could probably be resolved if they just committed to better naming. Like giving specific variants of missiles used instead of more generic names.
No, you get to find out what a blue gene is and why it’s somehow wackyer than the name. Or malkara with its BEAH atgm lol.

Standard Mk.5 should have a laser RF as its just a Mk.3/3 with a few mods needs bug reporting to be honest.
There also isn’t a Mk.5/2 unless you mean the Mk.5/2K which is the Mk given to the prodcition runs of Kuwait’s Mk.5’s although it should be noticed that the Mk.5/2k’s didn’t have a laser range finder and instead thad the .50 ranging gun.
