Yeah, never ordered, just no operational need.
There’s only a little info around on it for now, the round was accepted as the L21A1 in I believe 2009.

is it just me, or is the Warrior just completely missing a front towing eye, one of the FPE pull covers and one of the bolts on the driver hatch is really tall.
Edit:
I just made a FV510 Warrior mega report on the bug report page. Feel free to check it out and add anything to the comments if you so wish! thanks.

This bug report was meticulously crafted along side someone who is in the military, and actively operates and repairs them; so hopefully it will be good enough for the snail. Any additional info and sources would be great!

Is that how it should be? The optics on the launcher are drawn
that’s deffo a bug. the Milan has its own guidance system not linked to the main gun, so it should work fine despite the gun not having LoS
I can’t make a bug report. Can I rely on you? There is the same bug on Ratel 20 too

A bug report for the Warrior and Ratel 20 Milan sights.

Thank you
even with the bgti and OES3 you could still keep the milan, as it is still compatable with the system. however current SOP’s are for the commander to have several NLAW’s to use instead
correct. they usually store NLAW’s around the turret cage at the back of the crew compartment, and if they see an enemy vehicle, the SOP is to fall back, dismount bods and engage using NLAW if they need to engage at all.
bug report on warrior transmission has too many gears
half the reason the warrior feels so slow in the game is partly to do with its acceleration. in the game the vehicle has 9 gears forward and 4 backwards, when in reality it has 4 forwards and 2 backwards.
fixing this would and should double the vehicles acceleration in both directions.
unfortunately the only source i can find that’s not classified/sensitive is my own experience of 10 years on the platform
the ammunition was tested and approved however outside of testing the round was not used/ supplied as the vehicle hasn’t been used in conflicts since
the BGTI sights can be stabilised, however when they are they are independent from the gun so cant be used for 30mm aiming
its a shame that gaijin don’t accept official documents as proof of service as evidence enough to prove some of these things… The amount of issues we would have fixed, by people who have operated Challenger 2, Warrior, Bulldog, Scimitar, etc, if they would just accept people’s MoD cards combined with some other non classified documents as proof lol.
even the photos of the warrior you can find online don’t count. im convinced they just hate the UK lol they cant even get the Dorchester on the right side, or the MANC either.
could we not ask someone who owns a warrior? The youtuber mr hews owns a warrior hull he has worked on so shouldn’t that be enough evidence for it to have 4 gears forward and 2 back.
WT simulates gears in a funny way by doubling the number of gears. Won’t change.
Wouldn’t even need to ask him, it can be verified from the bloke’s videos alone

But as l2ulan said, the game uses virtual gearboxes with twice as much range. So 8 fwd (and I assume neutral for the 9th) and 4 reverse, is right
Interestingly, Mr Hewes’s WR hull is the one that was BAE’s CSP prototype with the MTIP2 40mm CTWS turret.
It has a few differences from a British Army FV510 hull with an 510 ISV troop door, but a FV511/512/…515 APU on the front-right of the hull. And as you see the controls are in Arabic suggesting it’s had a past life as a Desert Warrior demonstrator (but doesn’t have a full DWR hull with the improved cooling and APU), before it was used for WCSP development.
was under the impression that Gaijin doesn’t allow photos for evidence. however doesnt change the fact that the acceleration is slow on the warrior in game compare to irl. you can tell thats an old DIP as well because of the warning light/button layout
