I actually like SK60B and had better matches on it than in SAAB-105G
A year doesn’t change the fact of cannons being better than others.
U don’t need all speed in ur cannons to make them good, just like u don’t need all destructive mass in them too.
U have things like the F-15 with 940 bullets and an absurd rate of fire vs. Me 262 A-1/U-1 with a massive and unpractical 50mm tanks cannon.
I tested Bf, Fw and even some Ki with the german cannons and all of them are amazing even with the nerfs. Just aim, dude.
AN/M3s have been the best prop 20mm cannon for a few years now.

Also this post got off-topic so i want to ask for returning to the main them: F4U-7 at 5.7 ARB and 6.0 GRB
i prefer ShVAKs, they’re probably the best 20mm cannons in my opinion, and also soviet planes are more maneuverable and have exageratedly good guns.
Yak-3P has 3x20mm cannons at 5.3 and probably the best maneuverability and engine for that BR.
A better idea would be the F4U-4B moving up to 6.0 to join the F4U-7 (the other boogeymen should be moved up as well). Sadly this is extremely unlikely to happen as the F4U-4B is one of the lowest statistically performing fighters at 5.7 performing worse than actually awful planes like the Sea Fury, SO.8000 and Ki-87.

That’s because the sk60b is massively underpowered for the airframe. While the Saab 105g is pushing the airframe to the limit. So the 60b can keep up with idiots allowing you to do well in it with some effort, while the 105g is constantly trying to kill you.
Funny enough if we got the 105x it be even worse
Fun Facts: 151 has the damage restored when self destruction was added, and again when it comes to leviathan. Yet the self destruction and speed retention was never buffed back
More fun facts: Never put a single 151 and 2-3 151s together. Gun damage doesn’t vary between tech trees.
3rd time Fun Fact: ANM3 have ALL of ammo load, damage, firerate, muzzle velocity, straighter trajectory, and even mounted amount.
4th Fun Fact: shells perform different at longer ranges due to mass and aerodynamics of the shell. shvak doesn’t do well on long range. Still better than 151 since… 2023?

Yes ofc. Forgot how much heavier it is compared to 4B tho, and the engine swap between it and au1

Hell I’m having all my aiming habits in line with 151 these days… Time for a duel mate.

But at the same time you are praising k4 and 151 too much, and has been ignoring other good 5.7s such as

4B and U-7 are technically the same aircraft with just CAS armament as main difference.
they have the same engine, same FM and same flight performance, the only difference is its CAS armament being absolutely incredible in the F4U-7.
the 6.0 BR at ARB is completely unjustified since u can’t “kill a plane with 3x1000lbs bombs” or smth, and CAS armament is a bit useless in ARB cuz AI units don’t give too much rewards
i had some decent matches in 6.0 France with 5.7 or even 5.3 tanks that are obviously far from needing to fight against 7.0 tanks, so i guess it could easily stay at 6.0 in GRB, but in ARB its completely unjustified

7 is 176kg heavier than 4B, while the engine is also a bit worse.
May even justify a 5.3 lol
I would love to see somebody in this thread who is claiming F4U-7 is good in air RB to prove it.
