the F4U-7 is literally a F4U-4B but with more CAS armament AND a nonsense higher BR for ARB.
the only way F4U-7 can be competitive is in GRB, and in GRB, i see it fair at 6.0, but in ARB is other history.
it has poor maneuverability, bad ascension compared with planes like Bf 109 K-4 at 5.7 (0.3 lower lol) and it faces jets that can outrun it or climb faster than it.
in my opinion, it should go to 5.7 in ARB and stay in 6.0 for GRB, since France has quite good 5.7 tanks that can annihilate 6.0/7.0 tanks (ARL-44 with 248mm in 5.3 that can almost pen a Jagdtiger).
After spading it I found it to be fairly decent in air RB, but it is quite outclassed by other common planes like the Spit LF Mk.9, Yak-3U, and P-51H. All the planes I just mentioned should go to 6.3/6.7, and I would not argue against a BR reduction for the F4U-7.
Bro Bf 109 K-4 has the best ascension, the best maneuverability and the best armament for 5.7, F4U-7 can’t win against it in any cases, any prolonged dogfight will last with the Bf winning.
And whatever, the U-7 should go to 5.7 in ARB and 6.0 in GRB since the only reason of why it’s at 6.0 rn is cuz it can carry a massive amount of bombs and SNEB rocket pods, cuz except all that it’s the same U-4B.
The M3 cannons are easy to aim they’re velocity is around 830m/s, while MG 151 is 720m/s and MG13 is 710-750, not to mention the poor damage output that most people who play German 20s & 30s do these days.
Not true at all, the german 30mm is one of the most destructive cannons at that BR and the 13mm are decent.
Dude i own K-4 and it’s better than u think, not for nothing it was considered the best WW2 fighter irl.
Skill issue, Bf 109 K-4 is the best 5.7/6.0 fighter ingame, if u have a skill issue with it, them it’s not my problem.
And u can’t say i didn’t play with it or even own it cuz i actually own it and spaded it and it’s a very good plane for it’s rank, i would even say it can be quite abusive at that BR.
So you are just going to ignore the 5.7 boogeymen like the Spitfire LF Mk9, Yak-3U/VK107 and F4U-4B? Hell even the Spitfire F Mk14 which isn’t as good as the LF has a pretty favorable matchup against the K-4.
