They were recently buffed.
F4U-7 is very good tbh, but facing early jets that can climb more than u and can go faster than u in a dive (i literally faced a He 162 and it won me cuz He 162 can go +1000kph while F4U-7 can go +800kph) is a bit annoying.
I already spaded the U-7 and i can say it’s performance is decent, just not as good as other 6.0 or even 5.7 planes (Yak-3U/ He 162 for example), but increasing the BR of a plane that’s just a modified version of another plane in other tech tree and which biggest difference is CAS armament and “weight” (176kg more i heard?), then that should be a reason of decreasing it’s BR, since it performs worse due to increase weight and CAS weaponry is useless in ARB, just GRB.
