no. SPAA are like that to make poeple wanting to play them, if they’re not attractive to spawn, because frankly the gameplay is boring AF, poeple won’t spawn them anymore and we’ll experience even more CAS…
Only ones I support that for are the Gepard, Falcon, ItPsV Leo etc. as they are basically tank destroyers anyway and having no RWR at that tier makes you completely boned if you dare to breath in the “Gepard Alley”
dies when so much a stiff fart is directed at them
Can only penetrate (somewhat unreliably) side armor of most MBTs
With exceptions, usually Xbox hueg
A stock SPAA is usually suicide against MBTs
Even spaded is an uphill battle dependant on the SPAA.
Somehow OP at top tier despite a single plane being able to wipe out a dozen tanks while being practically invulnerable at 5km+ away because CAS got BTFO’d by an SPAA platoon.
…Sure. Okay. Amazing that the instant some sort of challenge shows up for the average CASer, they vehemently oppose it because it’s ‘unfair’.
It’s almost like tanks have been dealing with this for almost a decade and now that roles are reversed, the tank players find it cathartic.
‘But you said CAS isn’t OP, Parry!’
It isn’t. It’s god damn annoying, yeah but that’s as far as I’ll say about CAS.
‘But you suck at GRB HURR HURR’
My poor eyesight and volumetric silliness like to screw me over. Not to mention a lot of mechanics changed from 2018 to 2025 when I actually played warthunder on a pc account.
AA only game mode would be fun, kind of like the gun only for aviation. Randomized defects is not a good idea though, what type of defects are you thinking to begin with?
Yeah that’s just a bad idea, sorry. There is no vision that we lack, it would just lead to someone leaving the battle, which the entire point of free vehicles was to stop that from happening.
Actually, after playing Kv-7, I’ve decided to change my ways. It’s EXTREMELY unfair that lvl 14s have a way to counter my seal clubbing in time of SL need.
