i want to propose a idea to fix the fox 3 slingers seeing fox 1 jets.
in my expirience ,I in my su33 a very strong jet but i am being practicaly bullied at this point with TWS fox3 slingers. even in a down tear i am still seeing fox 3 and I am being pulled down do to me only having fox 1 and 2. and I am avear of it strong and fox3 raveling R27ER but whats the point if i need to forget my lock to survive while my oponent doesent need to wory at all. i think its unfair for fox 1 jets seeing fox3 even in a down tear. and the problem isent only on the SU33 there is the F2 and many more.

Except Su-33 is the better aircraft than the 13.0 legacy ARH slingers.
Yes, F.3 late and KWS have some advantages in BVR thanks to ARH missiles, but its not as one sided due to R27ER speed.
And lets not talk about WVR where Su-33 just stomps most legacy ARH carriers into the ground

Hey I managed to beat Su-33 in a dogfight while I was using ICE.
Give some credit to my beloved Daddy Phantom, after all years its still kicking ass Xd.
Jokes aside Su-33 is one of the best 13.0 platform you can find in this game and only clueless person will loose to a dogfight against phantom in that jet.

With careful managment of cobra button and R73+HMS I had success even against Gripens
But the usual Su-33 player just stuff like this

I agree with OP. Even though the Su-33 is a great plane, it is completely outclassed by ARH slingers it constantly gets uptiered against. Most of my matches in the Su-33 is at 13.7 and I’m lucky if I manage to get a kill with the wall of ARH missiles coming my way. Even one on one they have every advantage because the Su-33 has to break lock to notch where the ARH carrier can launch and turn with the missile still being lethal. Downtiers aren’t much better because there are a lot of 13.0 ARH carriers like the Kfir, Phantom, etc.
What do you want done to fix this?

Now try using the 3rd gen fighters against 4th gens that not only have better flight performance but also all-aspect IRCCM missiles (often vs rear-aspect missiles) as well as at least as good but often better SARH missiles

other Fox-1 slingers do struggle though
