Forum Is Meant For Discussion

The mod Pacifica closed the replies on the post I had made specifically to be a post for people to discuss about the current state of the bans situation and for me to hear others thoughts and suggestions about what I have pointed out, but instead Pacifica closed the replies and linked the place where I used to get some of the numbers i cited from (respectfully, that was not very helpful). Here is the link to the post I had made if you want to read it: The Game Destroying Auto-Banning

To right off the bat answer 2 questions on there: that was more of a splatter of thoughts and opinions on the situation so I have no need to “learn how to use paragraphs” because I never intended for that to be an ELA format essay :). And to also answer your question ion_protogen, here is how I know its automatic, granted I was making an educated guess on the evidence already here and only halfway through writing the original post did I stumble upon this: https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/200069301-Teamkilling

I understand there are obviously plenty of people opening new threads to complain about getting banned but please dont close the replies on this again Pacifica (or any other mod), I want to hear what others have to say about what I’ve said and suggested.

It already was before due to “spam” even though over an hour had passed since the last one was, mods clearly dont want this talked about, sincd they seemed to grasp at straws to use my saying I was gonna keep the discussion going if I got replies on this to have it hidden. I removed that part from the post so they hopefully shouldnt have a valid reason to mute it now.

But any thoughts on this situation?

but yes, I agree, auto-banning for accidently team killing is not pretty good

Problem is, it isnt a single TK that leads to a ban… otherwise I would have one this morning for I think 2 TK’s in my last 90 games (one was a poorly placed bomb, another was an accidental ram when I was trying to clear the air for someone I thought was trying to slot on an enemy but we both misjudged what each other was doing)

But the question is then, where is the cut off for that because if thats the case then there is clearly a value that once you cross it you get a ban for tk, they keep saying that its multiple offenses, but how many is it and within what amount of time? I know someone who got the auto short term ban for tks months ago and they havent tked at all recently, and they arent the type of person to habitually team kill
