This change is very drastic.
I think it is too much too fast and with no warning.

I do wonder if my 3 warning point will follow…I guess that might be one good thing.

Ah Gaijin, you know I’m usually on your side for most things but this new forum is terrible.

Gaijin being gaijin… changing things that don’t need to and run good as they do, and ignoring things that need changed for 10 years…

Loss of all those Open Beta badges we all earned seems a shame. I was looking forward to the La Royale one.

Then don’t release if it’s not ready and it is bare-bones

I understand Gaijin wanting to change the platform to something where they can change and adjust things which this fulfils that. But there are lot of things which should have been polished out like the post edits.
@Pacifica @Stona_WT what is current policy on topic migration? Especially something like suggestions. Will they be migrated or should we start the topic again?

It’s new but I can live with it.

This really feels like when EPIC store opened with non of the important things that Steam had many years.
You had all the time to get everything ready and copy all working things from old forum, but decided to release new without giving warning or anything also pls give us light mode.

Oh, looks like the Beta gifs coming online now on your identity card, along with your squadron name, that’s nice.

Don’t see a link to player profiles yet: not a bad thing, might cut down on the drive by “you don’t even PLAY high tier planes” (or whatever) stat shaming.

Was this change ever announced?

I don’t won’t to be negative in my first post… But Gaijin, why?

Rolling out a new forum without a proper announcement - easy to see for everyone - is exactly the point, why your community has been so upset as of lately.

Additionally, why you as a company rolled out this “in Development” version, after years of a well functioning forum at all?

Why waste money on “developing basic functions in the future”?

Bad take, once again…

But certainly “We hear you”… Where? In the old forum where u can’t post anymore?

This here. I think new forum should have been announced well ahead and Gaijin should have asked from users is there something that should be added to new forum.

Old forum was a great and good benchmark for this new one. Now it just feels like rushed job to get it out fast as possible.

Could we at least have the suggestions carried over wholesale? We can’t lose all the data that multiple people have added after a suggestion’s been made.

I agree. This board change appears unnecessary and rushed.

Hmm the UI certainly seems more modern, but not sure if it’s a good thing.
Time will tell I guess.

Changing things can be interesting, but a little heads up would have been nice

I’m afraid there are a lot of features missing for this “new forum”, I believe it would have been better to improve it before implementing it

Other than that, I’m curious to see where it is going.

Can I say that i hate this new forum here? I was searching some place to say that without take a advise for some adm

It really feels rushed, I don’t like it at all.

Changing things ? sure, why not, everything change at some point or other, but what’s with the lack of actual preparations ?

No warnings for the userbase, no communication until after the deed is done, and so many features are missing ! Also, what with the trust level ?

I find making post not possible to edit until you reach a specific level of trust so weird !

I feel like actually putting a “grind” to unlock basic features like editing is so weird, we are already grinding enough in the game !
