how does a company add classified military information to a vehicle without running into major legal trouble? Leaking those kind of documents act in a way that ensures that those improvements will never be made.
it’s gaijin’s job to do this, if they can’t, they should make themself being able. after all players paid for the service
IMHO, the only option is for us, ordinary players, to achieve fair and truthful attitude of Gaijin towards to all nations and their vehicles: turn to the one who REALLY has power over Gaijin - the owners of copyrights of the vehicles present in WT.
well said
Don’t know what else to tell you both can be turned into propaganda. Even if you deny it
And why should those companies take action? Copyright does not work the same way for unobtainable military vehicles as they do for guns you can buy across the road.
Plus why should they tell the whole world how their vehicles really are? XD It is only beneficial if they dont know / underestimate your real combat strenght. Sth the soviets learned the hard way with the F15.
You players shouldn’t stay silent. I won’t, and I certainly won’t accept improvements being added first chineses/russian vehicles, before NATO vehicles that were posted earlier.
If you think this is fair just because the majority of the community is made up of BOTs, it’s because you’ve accepted mediocrity and bowed your heads.
Remember that this thread is nothing more than a THREAT. Imagine if you, a player, made the SAME THREAD, WITH THE SAME TONE? It would certainly be removed or reported by massive bots until it was hidden.
Let’s be crystal clear: there is no greater pleasure, justice, or equality than seeing others sitting in the same chairs we have been sitting in for years so that appropriate corrections can be made to the vehicles that need them.
The Pooh is a highly sensitive symbol under the contexts regarding China, because people have used it to mock the likeness of Xi.
ZTZ-59 with the gold camo stems (iirc) from a meme talking about T-54/55’s prowess in WoT more than a decade ago… and ZTZ59 is T-54/54A in China.
Copyright applies to everything in the same way: cars, phones, and any product that has been registered with a particular company.
Gaijin can’t just sign the plane, for example, F/A-18E and release it`s in game - it’s copyrighted and they need a Boeng license to use their trademark in the game.
In WT almost all vehicles is copyrighted.
| Thing | Commercial guns | Military-only vehicles |
|---|---|---|
| Name protection | Strong (trademark) | Weak / inconsistent |
| Visual design | Sometimes protected | Often free to depict |
| Licensing in games | Common | Often skipped |
| Government involvement | Minimal | Heavy |
| Enforcement | Aggressive | Spotty |
AAAnd? Check Boeng site.
Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, McDonnell, Douglas, North American Aviation, their distinctive airplane liveries, logos and product markings, and the products and services described in this Site (except those belonging to Boeing suppliers or licensors), are among the trademarks, service marks or registered trademarks owned by Boeing, and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of Boeing.
Or maybe the chinese community has figured out something we haven’t: a concerted effort to enforce positive change to be made in the game instead of you defaulting to insults and claims of botting.
Something we, the english speaking community, somehow manage to fail to do.
Maybe instead of insulting others, we all collectively work together. It’s a god damn video game not a pissing contest on who’s nation should be the best.
AAAnd? Does Beoing produce all vehicles in war thunder?
Not all of them, but a very significant part.
Boeng is far from the only company whose license Gaijin uses.
then they do the trade mark for that company and maybe 3 more and the rest is irrelevant BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE. Jeeez…
would actually be an interesting statistic to see how many accounts from the ban waves have chinese names / were affiliated with chinese squadrons / etc
these big companys just don’t care about this kind of infringements
model (plastic ones) markets too, most modes are unauthorized
And is that why it’s worth informing them?
Fix your gramma. That sentence makes no sense
I haven’t. You can see my bitching and whining up and down the forums about the joke state of Warthunder Naval.
Counterpoint: china is massive for population. As a result, there’s going to be a higher number of botters. I’m almost certain that the percentage of actual botters is still reasonably small for such a large population.
Other countries have botters as well.
Bias confirmation is a truth, not the truth.
