The Chinese server for WT was literally ran by Tencent, until that server died in 2022 and CN tech tree merged to the international server.

Something about vt4 being introduced in a chinese especial day.
I was actually, and I was there to see a lot of the action both in the english side of the forum and the Chinese one. Both sides were pretty one sided, one was mostly filled with complaints about Gaijin, the other was complaints about China.

Died because low player count…
it would survive just fine nowadays.
I hear that it died due to Tencent’s poor management and lack of investment. Updates were lagging behind the international server, it had better player benefits like free premium account for logins but that didn’t save it from losing players.

I guess the idea of going onto NA and EU servers to cause trouble was more attractive too (I also like going onto the NA servers to sealclub i get it)

And spice has a maximum possible effective range of maximum 6 clicks in WT, meanwhile brims are not fnf, Ljdams are utter garbidge. Kh-29 goes 1.8 mach.
Spice goes further than than but ok. LJDAMs are ok,you just pop up and fire with anything on top tier except Kh-38s anyway or you die to spaa.
I can shoot down any missile in the game, including Kh-38, but with Kh-29 and Kh-38 it’s much harder, because they’re fast. Spice will be exploded in less than 5 seconds if you launch it at 6km. I use OTOMATIC at toptier to kill all ammunition CAS launches.
Well that’s tough luck then isn’t it, like most people with subtrees people just need to learn how to cope.
The Thai VT-4 needs to be added to the Japanese tree because that’s where THAILAND is hosted same as India to the British, same as the Benelux to the French, same as the Swiss to the German’s, same as Finland to the Swedish.
No nations tech should be sidelined because of history, if you personally don’t like the Thai VT-4 going to the Thai sub tree then that’s no longer a gaijin issue but a you issue.

Some people actually think the issues facing the Chinese tech tree right now are the same problems everyone else has?
Look at the latest update patch: the temporarily added Su-30SM2 and JAS-39E both received armament and avionics far superior to the J-10C. Meanwhile, for the J-10C, which was one of the first planes added to testing, the development team didn’t even bother to properly model the basic Chinese-made aero-engine WS10-B. They simply transplanted the F-15C Golden Eagle’s radar and called it finished. After the test server concluded, they even nerfed the J-10C’s engine power and radar scanning range. If that isn’t differential treatment, what is?
They go out of their way to find the absolute worst, earliest prototype version of a Chinese vehicle and intentionally make it weaker, while for Russian vehicles, they shove in items that haven’t even materialized off a PowerPoint slide yet.

Never mind how many new type of thing China’s get’s there alway one who will still play the victim card that either wants everything OP or wants the dev to favour that nation into getting more stuff added to it.
I guess having a top tier MBT, SPAA, a jet and being part of the Winter event just wasn’t enough lol
