For the love of god, remove M163 from 7.0 (max BR) matches

The OP is fully right. Gaijin has some issues with proper ai spaa or even af aaa on some maps. Just 4 months ago we had the famous Roland incident - killing a Lancaster:

Cannot believe this is still a problem. Just wanted to say the map designer responsible for making WW2 props get shot down by a radar aimed vulcan should be flogged.

It’s also super enjoyable to end up in uptier and get roflstomped by Rolands in WW2 prop. Why the hell are 7.0 jets facing SAMs from 1970’s?

Roland 1 is at 9.7, what the hell are you talking about?

U get killed by Rolands in Air RB (at prop BRs) on certain maps by Rolands defending the enemy main airfield. Depending on the map layout (=distance between main and forward airfield) you get even killed if you try to strafe an enemy on his forward (=unprotected) airfield.

This happened to me twice (1 x BR 6 0 He 162 A-2 and 1 x BR 6.7 Me 262 A-2a).

The only way to avoid this is to check the own af aaa symbols whilst taking off.

Wow a airplayer gets countered by spaa and he gets pissed. You know that tanks are just food for planes . Be glad there is something what can take them out

Hahah, “countered”, poor AI tanks in Air RB! They must feel so bad< I’m glad they are protected now! Hope WW2 ground RB tanks randomly get “countered” by out of map AI controlled indestructible ATGMs, so brainlets like you can experience the immense fun it brings.

Fully agree.

If u enjoy playing totally outnumbered in Air RB:
Fly the 6.0 Heinkel He 162 A-2.

Your entire team usually dies whilst you are trying to get altitude to work with. If you have then 4-5 enemies in props behind you (and you know the map) you can get rid of some of them by flying wide loops and drag them below 2 km above own vehicle columns - the M163s kill usually 2 of your new “friends”… Usually you can’t avoid the inevitable ticket defeat, but i takes away some pressure…

Just participated in a game where M163 pilot-sniped our Me-262 A1U4. Fun times.

Sorry me does not play the stuff in the air so can gladly never feel what you feel.
Seeing your answer you’re kinda frustrated and need to touch some gras .

Fresh from the land of Gaijoob:

I had to actively dodge during this battle as some time later I had to go a bit lower.
Yes, it was a 7.0 battle, but still, only 1 side of the map had deadly mid-map AAA, because the other one had something like M42, which never hits. Not fun.

its also very fun getting murdered by a fucking roland while in a P-51. What’s 10.0 in GRB you can face in 6.3 air games, how is this balanced? The 2nd game i had in the P-51H i, along with other teammates went to strafe the last plane left on the airfield and i found out the hard way that you can face late cold war SAMS in a WW2 prop fighter…

Also Roland can reach you over the forward AF on some maps. You know, over the AF that is theoretically unprotected.
Super fun. I learned when I got dragged there by a jet while flying Ta-152H. It’s generally hilarious to play Ta vs jets, as they happily tank 30mm and 20mm cannons, that do next to no damage. Meanwhile Shvak de-wings and de-tails jets just fine.

Ground RB players can’t even read, this is an AIR RB topic.

Airfield campers keep coping. Maybe go attack some AI targets instead of suiciding into airfield AAA or flying circles around the airfield for multiple minutes on end.

AF campers are the ones utilising AF AAA to ruin the game for everyone. If you are one of AF camping jocks, go to the AF AAA topic and whine about actually skilled players “camping” over your AF (they are not camping, you are).
