Tornado ASSTA 1 , GR1 and Tornado IDS (1995) should all be reduced to 11.0 in ARB they basicaly perform the same in air as the MFG and WTD61 the differences are minimal
This is a classic gaijin form made without thinking about organs.
Huh? WHERE
my bad
If anything they should be the same (12.0) the only F16s im fine with going down are the ADF variants. the rest should stay at 12.0 but GR7 being higher in BR than F16s with GBU-8s and Mavericks is actually comical af
No strike aircraft shouldnt be better than fighters but they should be able to hold their own. The while “strike aircraft shouldn’t be fighters” is a horribly terrible argument. If strike aircraft shouldn’t be dogfighting then the ground targets shouldn’t be in the middle of the map where the attackers are forced into the furball to do their job. Aircraft like the A4 cannot do their job currently without getting clubbed by the fighters they run into and they aren’t effective at dogfighting either at its current BR.
… What a farce this is.
Very fair change, this provides more simple kills for Russia’s most powerful anti-aircraft missile, and I guess that’s what Gaijin meant by developing War Thunder, which is to make Russia infinitely great in the electronic world
How so, the max optical tracking distance for the 10A is 6km which is identical to the max range of the 2S6 at it’s BR range.
However, good luck actually getting the velocity to use that 6km range because you are a A-10, even the longer range IR lock on the 65Ds mean nothing because of how poor the aerodynamic performance of the A-10 is.
The A-10 also lacks any sort of laser guided munitions which the SU-25s have and it also lacks any large caliber rockets which are not only cheaper to spawn by a great margin but also so vastly superior to the likes of M247s its not even a competition.
Was it bad that I was expecting more?
As someone who doesn’t play ground above 10.0 very much these changes change nothing for me at all. I was hoping planes like the Su-25, Buccaneer, and others would have changed air BRs. These changes barely changed anything for air players.
I’m just kinda disappointed.
Also, the A-4Es should be 9.3 in GRB, it is not quite good enough to be at 9.7. It also could be moved down to 8.3 in ARB because there is no way it is equal to a Mig-17.
Gr7 only has Gen 1 TPod though and no Radar makes it more vulnerable to CAP
Watching the BR adjustments carefully, I observed that most of the fighters had their BR lowered, including those with BVR capability. I would like to know what kind of thinking went into the decision to lower the BR of fighters in Ground Battles and increase the BR of attack aircraft in Land Calendar. Is it possible that the idea is for players to learn how to fight in the air while learning Ground Battles in land battles again?
The br changes in general are welcomed, especially for A-4s which were not being effectively in their respective br. However, some changes in sub-toptire seems rather unreasonable:
1, the Su-25s(basic version) aren’t getting any br promoting while they being one of the most effective CASs in their BR (9.0-11.0). And they sure are doing better than A-10s in both air RB and ground RB.
2, the AMX is bumping to 11.0, while being sub-sonic and have none FnF capabilities. It should be of same BR as other Paveway carriers or give it the Mavericks that should be given when added to the game.
Makes little difference given Litening is not fixed lol
It’s due to be fixed next major as per the last Dev post
Ok now mad idea.
Why don’t you just move SPAAs down instead of completely destroying the lineups?
That way you can avoid making certain jets useless. Crazy I know
Q5L 10.7 dude no
You know what… That is a good shout
Sure fair point
Still, HEAT Mavs have been giga nerfed to the point where a soft vehicle won’t even budge from getting hit by one.
So I suppose I’d still rather take the Gr.7 even though the pod is inferior. The warhead on the mavs makes all the difference to me.
Poor Q-5L without countermeasures and 2x250 kg GBUs can face Pantsir S1 now
