it doesnt need one… it has laser guided munitions… if your lack of skill prevents you from using the basic pod it has then thats a you issue. it can still guide munitions in from up to 6 miles out… stop comparing guided to unguided an assuming they are equal
do you fly straight and level when SPAA are shooting at you?
forgetting that the gun can also be used to melt SPAA and disable anything when SPAA is not around, a decent gun is a decent advantage, especcially when you encounter enemy CAS,
still can be used to kill Gun SPAA out of their gun range, not to mention that the S-25Os and S-13s are much better to use for CAS than any bomb for the BR, less time to target, no delay, and is just easiier to use, being able to fire all 8 (or 40 for S-13s) at targets at longer ranges,
S-25Os are the better way, they have an enourmous warhead for a rocket and the CCIP lets you place them on SPAA foreheads before cannons become effective, not to mention that if it is a Missile SPAA the Su-25 has a decent chance to survive after one hit

They has but need very good spotting skill or “spotted enemy”.
Other then that, they are rocket spammer at extreme close range.

manpads hitting is not the same as “killing” or are you glossing over the multiple times anyone in this thread or game has had su25Ks eat multiple stinger missiles and flew back around for a revenge kill…
but your still ignoring the threat level difference between the 2 jets all for the sake of 3 weapons… one faces long range SAMs while having TV guided munitions that only just put it in killing distance of those long range SAMs while the other doesnt and can simply fly in knowing what it faces is easily avoidable on a manevouring level thanks to dog water SACLOS changes a while back
stop trying to compare them the way you are. su25k is too low of a BR and thats proof of its performance in matches. it should match the su25bm

You need a targeting pod for laser munitions or your range is <3km.

No, but DommyEnjoyer does since they use laser guided bombs with Su-25 which requires players to fly straight at targets <3km until they hit.
The SPAA has a 3000 meter range, the Su-25’s gun has a 500 meter range… 3000 is higher than 500.
Why did all the 10.7 starfighters get moved down to 10.0 when the 10.3 f104j stays at 10.3
The other g starfighters recieve actual ground ordinance while the j has two extra aams and 14 tiny rockets
go play the game if you think thats your take…
sometimes they eat stingers but most of the time they die and they keep being a thread anyways, unlike what your claiming…

The Q-5L going to 10.7 without missiles or flares is just evil. This plane needs to be corrected. Theres no reason why it should not have flares.
Cause the F-104J doesn’t have CAS options.

I’ve fragged over 100 Su-25s using various SPAAs, one of which is VEAK-40 when it had proxy rounds.
Su-25s are not hard to frag at all.

no they actually dont, play enough of that BR bracket and you will see it tank more than it gets killed by them

it has a built in targeting pod in its nose.
i can in test flight launch the laser rockets at 8km out and hit a stationary target (that is laser designated by the pod) when i’m 5.5km out.
i’ve NEVER flown this plane before. it took almost no skill.

That only helps my point? The decked out ground attack countermeasure spamming starfighters are now at a lower br than the air to air zero ground attack no countermeasure starfighter in groundbattles
they do… i dont have many problems with them nowadays, they are easy to kill, you just need to wait for the right time.
