Because the Su-25BM has TV guided bombs and missiles, which increase the range from <3km to ~6km.
The two weapon difference causing increased lethality.
Just as the Bucc S2B’s 3x guided bombs with a targeting pod causes increased lethality increasing its engagement range from <3km to <10km.
@Morvran
Tracking targeting pods on jets is actually a negative trait.
In top BR ground RB I never lock specific tanks, cause I want fine control of where the bomb will hit.
its a GRB loadout question… so the entire purpose should be its ground loadout not its A/A loadout but even if we account for R73s you still have to be within 2-3 miles for that to be effective anyway so that argument is pointless. if the R73 was a long range missile then your argument would be valid but in the context of R73s and its usability in short range engagements that require you to be over the battlefield anyway it becomes pointless to mention especially when you still have 2 R60Ms on the Su25K capable of doing the same thing at similar ranges on dedicated pylons too which has no impact on your ground striking capabilities
Your still ignoring the BR difference that puts them into entirely different matches and opponents. one faces top tier SAMs the other does not… hence the Su25K with its current loadout actually performs better than the Su25BMs even with the longer range weaponary.
Because Su25K lacks anything effective at taking it out at that BR range. what does the Su25K face at 11.0 tops in an up tier? most of what the Su25K faces is manpads or short range SAMs with very poor missiles. Su25BM faces top tier SAMs ranging from ADATS/FlakRakRad/Ito etc.
GRB capability of the Su25K is better due to lack of threats, therefor its SUPPOSE to go up… how hard is that to understand
also… given all the MiG-23s are moving down to at least 11.0, why is the Tornado F.3 not moving at all? if anything, that should be 11.0 at least, if not lower, because it has no ground ordnance at all
And no, don’t say “uhhh but muh range”
F-4S and J are both going down. They both outrange
So yeah, over 10 CAS across 6 tech trees equivalent or better than the Su-25 at 10.3 or below.
Su-25BM is 11.0, not 11.7 as you imply.
11.0 BR sees downtiers more than uptiers.
Su-25K has threats at 10.0 or below. Here I’ll list all of them:
M247, Chaparral, LAV-AD, Gepard 1A2, Ozelot, Type 93 [which is the SPAA I use when I want to frag Su-25s for daily tasks], PGZ04A, SIDAM 25 Mistral, SANTAL, Roland 1, Lvkv 9040C, ASRAD, Lvrbv 701, and Machbet.
I’m not counting all those threats to the CAS I mentioned earlier, which includes them being a threat to Su-25s.
There are more Rolands at 10.3.
All of which out-range the Su-25K and its compatriots.
No its not, because your in different BR brackets of opponents/threats… the fact you still cannot see that the Su25K performs better due to its lack of threat at its current BR means it should go up in BR for its GRB BR… thats not rocket science.
Just stop… Su25K still has laser guided munitions kek… just actually stop. imagine comparing guided to unguided and thinking they are comparable in this argument :D
dont tell me most of ur game is downtire match🤣,or just tell me how the hell avoid get full uptier in my 80% match in such a br overcrowded?btw, why dont u use ur fighters to kill those slow and weak strikers? u dont have one? or maybe u just cant get even 300sp to get on a jet without any cas loaded?🤣
