So far, it has been working for me at 5.3. The 94mm works great and with a quick reload. Turret also rotates quick. Not for every map but there are other 5.3s you can use for thoses.

my experiences with using the TOG are different from your theory as to why it sucks
Yeah, its BR is too high. It’s a BR 4.7 at best.
I play exclusively AB and few hours after I unlocked it, everyone would pen and one-shot me, soooo for the first time ever with any tank I started going into battle in reverse. Had a good time for several hours then suddenly everyone would just shoot the turret and again it’s a complete unfun struggle.
The TOG II and 2C (the one in the normal tree) should be survivable and not dispatched so easily. Both are overtiered and not fun at all.
It will be a pain to get all the skins and the mark of distinction for this one…

Nah at 4.7 it would be invincible to everybody in downtier while also lolpenning every tank it sees. For me it is decently placed on 5.3. Last battle 4.7 to 5.7 I got 7 kills, including 5 oneshots, including those on kv1 variants and a tiger, and survived with minor damage. Gun feels great, is easy to aim, pens reliably. Armor easily bounces of shots. With all 6.3 heavies now being moved to 6.7 you cant fight many “tough to kill, easy to kill you” vehicles, with jagdpanther being the only one that comes to mind.

almost any tank at 6.0 and up will be able to pen the turret even at extreme range, even some AA. it’s no joke probably the worst tank at its br when it comes to uptiers, its so hilariously bad i have no idea why anyone sane would think moving it from 4.7 is a good idea. even at 4.7 it seems really bad
So a 6.0 tanks need to aim at certain (weak)spot while shooting one 0.7 br lower? Idk man seems pretty nice. At the other hand, l2p, 4.7 would be just handholding so that you can club enemy team.
talk to me when you learn the game… its the 2nd or 3rd biggest tank in the game that gets one shotted by most thing at and below its br if you aim for the ‘weak spot’ (the absolutely gigantic turret is totally the same as is6 pixel sight weak spot right)

result: every nation in the game has a tank 1-2 br below this one that can one shot it at any reasonable distance. i should learn to play? if you are struggling to kill this thing not only should YOU learn to play, you should schedule a neurosurgeon visit as soon as possible because there is something not right with your wiring. this thing being at 5.3 is laughable, the only reason i could think of why anyone would want it there is purely out of spite because they didn’t get it in time

The turret seems to bounce panther rounds a decent amount. You cant be passive with your armor. Hull has been pretty good so far. The gun is the biggest plus. Really fun to ufp jumbos.

If you is2 yourself no duh everyones gonna aim for the turret. If you go forward and angle people will aim for your hull even though its angled.
Why do you think good tiger players angle? Because even though the cupola is a weakspot most people will shoot the hull. Which when angled will stop even the US 90mm.

once again, you can’t angle the turret. the turret is only effective if you play frontally thanks to its side angle but then your front plate is the weak spot. please get some more experience with the game before you spout this drivel, the game is not rank 2 vehicles only
